Who's out of Week 17, Washington Redskins, Dallas Cowboys

ARLINGTON, Texas – The Washington Redskins and Dallas Cowboys announced their list of inactives for Sunday’s matchup at AT&T Stadium.

Starting left tackle Tyron Smith and cornerback Byron Jones are inactive. Smith did not practice all week because of a back issue that has bothered him the last few years. It will be the third game he missed this season. Jones is missing a game for the first time in his career and it might be the final game he plays for the Cowboys. Jones suffered an ankle injury during practice and was in a walking boot on Friday. He is set to be an unrestricted free agent in March.

In addition to Jones, the Cowboys’ inactives are: wide receiver Devin Smith, offensive tackle, Wyatt Miller, who was claimed off Cincinnati’s practice squad at the start of the week, defensive end Joe Jackson and linebacker Joe Thomas and defensive tackle Antwaun Woods,

Thomas suffered a knee injury in the Week 15 win against the Los Angeles Rams and while he was started in last week’s loss to the Philadelphia Eagles he played 12 defensive snaps before getting replaced by Malcolm Smith.

For the Redskins, quarterback Dwayne Haskins, wide receiver Terry McLaurin, safety Landon Collins, cornerback Josh Norman, safety Troy Apke, center Ross Pierschbacher and tight end Caleb Wilson are inactive.
