COSTA MESA, Calif. -- Two bookend offensive tackles and a change-of-pace running back for the Los Angeles Chargers are listed as questionable for Sunday’s game against the New York Jets.

Left tackle Russell Okung has been dealing with a groin injury all week, but returned to practice on Friday as a limited participant. Okung has played in all 15 games this year. If Okung can’t play, rookie sixth-round draft pick Sam Tevi would replace him as Philip Rivers' blindside protector.

“He’s raw, he’s athletic and he’s strong,” Chargers head coach Anthony Lynn said about Tevi. “We feel very comfortable with him as our left tackle and becoming a future starter in this league one day.”

Barksdale has been dealing with a hip issue, but also was a limited participant on Friday. Barksdale has missed five games this season with a lingering foot injury. If Barksdale cannot play, Michael Schofield will get his sixth start of the season.

“We’re going to take it all the way up until game time for those two,” Lynn said about Okung and Barksdale. “The last thing we need is for someone to suit up and be out after one play, and then we’re in a bind.”

Defensive tackle Corey Liuget (knee) and middle linebacker Denzel Perryman (hamstring) did not practice all week and were already ruled out of Sunday’s game by Lynn earlier this week

Rookie running back Austin Ekeler was a full participant on Friday but is dealing with a broken left hand. He also was listed as questionable. Lynn said that Okung, Barksdale and Ekeler all will be game-time decisions.

Lynn said that if Ekeler can’t go, running back Russell Hansbrough could be promoted from the practice squad to the active roster.
