The Brooklyn Nets open training camp with a full 20-man roster. Out of this group, 15 players have full salary protection for the 2016-17 season, while three have some guaranteed money and two have non-guaranteed deals. Here is the breakdown:

Full Salary Protection: Anthony Bennett, Bojan Bogdanovic, Trevor Booker, Randy Foye, Justin Hamilton, Joe Harris, Rondae Hollis-Jefferson, Sean Kilpatrick, Caris LeVert, Jeremy Lin, Brook Lopez, Chris McCullough, Luis Scola, Greivis Vasquez and Isaiah Whitehead

Partial Salary Protection: Beau Beech, Yogi Ferrell and Egidijus Mockevicius

No Salary Protection: Chase Budinger and Jorge Gutierrez

Roster Outlook: The regular season roster may already be set before training camp starts since 15 players have fully guaranteed salaries. The other five players will work hard to win a spot during the preseason and Budinger might have a chance to make it happen. Beech, Ferrell and Mockevicius will likely be waived late in the preseason, so the Nets can designate them to their D-League affiliate, the Long Island Nets.

2016-17 Salary Cap Outlook: The Nets have plenty of options to make more roster moves as they could start the regular season $18.6 million below the salary cap and $37.7 million under the luxury tax line.
