With just 10 days remaining in the 2016-17 NBA regular season, the Orlando Magic are set to make some roster moves Monday.

Rumor Central

According to the Orlando Sentinel, the Magic are planning to sign swingman Marcus Georges-Hunt to a rest-of-season contract that will run through 2017-18. This deal, which likely includes little to no salary protection for next season, will allow the Magic to evaluate Georges-Hunt during the summer.

Georges-Hunt, who went to training camp with the Boston Celtics and later had a 10-day stint with the Miami Heat, played this season in the D-League with the Maine Red Claws. Georges-Hunt averaged 15.8 points, 6.2 rebounds and 4.5 assists in 45 appearances with the Red Claws this season.

According to the Orlando Sentinel's Josh Robbins, the Magic are also going to waive CJ Wilcox and sign Patricio Garino to a deal similar to Georges-Hunt's. Garino went to training camp with the San Antonio Spurs and was released Oct. 22. Garino, who is from Argentina, spent this season playing for San Antonio's D-League team, the Austin Spurs, and he averaged 11.3 points and 3.4 rebounds per game.

Wilcox, the No. 28 pick in the 2014 NBA draft, played in just 22 games with the Magic this season and averaged 1.0 points per game. He played his first two seasons in the NBA with the LA Clippers.
