No, the answer is the New York Jets' receiving corps.

The Jets did it again on Monday, signing yet another wide receiver -- Charles Johnson. It brings their total to 17 receivers on the 86-man roster, which is rather mind boggling.

The average team has nine, according to updated depth charts posted by Ourlads. The New York Giants are a distant second at 13.

The Jets have enough receivers to start their own NBA team.

They have enough for every syllable in a Haiku poem (17).

The goal is to create competition at the position, but the Jets have taken it to the nth degree. Maybe they're planning to install a run-and-shoot offense. (Kidding. I think.) There is a highly-technical name for their unique approach at the position:

Throwing mud at the wall and hoping some of it stick. Only three of them have more than 100 career receptions -- Andre Roberts (244), Jermaine Kearse (218) and Robby Anderson (105).

Only five are former Jets draft picks -- Quincy Enunwa, Chad Hansen, Charone Peake, Devin Smith and ArDarius Stewart.

Three are free-agent additions -- Terrelle Pryor, Roberts and Johnson.

Some are lesser-known holdovers -- Jalin Marshall, JoJo Natson, Lucky Whitehead, Tre McBride, Brisly Estime, Damore'ea Stringfellow and Daniel Williams.
