ROUND ROCK 5, LAS VEGAS 3: Brett Nichols delivered a tiebreaking single against Zack Thornton in the bottom of the eighth to plate a pair of runners inherited from Dario Alvarez. Las Vegas had pulled even at 3 in the seventh when Eric Young Jr.'s infield single scored Matt Reynolds. Starter Dillon Gee allowed three runs (two earned) on six hits in six innings. NEW HAMPSHIRE 5, BINGHAMTON 3 (10 innings): Jack Murphy ripped a tiebreaking two-run double against Adam Kolarek (2-3) in the top of the 10th. Jonathan Galvez's RBI double in the second inning had opened the scoring. Josh Rodriguez's run-producing single in the third evened the score at 2. Vince Belnome's solo homer in the fourth staked the B-Mets to a one-run lead. Robert Gsellman allowed three runs (one earned) on six hits over six innings in a no-decision. KINGSPORT 2, DANVILLE 1: Thomas McIlraith (6-1) allowed one run on eight hits in seven innings. Seth Davis allowed five hits in two scoreless relief innings for his first save. Kingsport took a 2-0 lead in the second on an RBI single by Ali Sanchez and RBI double by Jose Maria. Sanchez was promoted from the Gulf Coast League after the completion of that season. Box
