Mauricio Dubon and Cody Decker had solo homers against Josh Zeid in consecutive innings to open the scoring. In the sixth, Zeid then hit consecutive batters with pitches. Paul Paez entered and ultimately allowed an RBI single to Henry Ramos as Portland took a 3-0 lead. Zeid (4-4) was charged with three runs on two hits in 5⅓ innings. ST. LUCIE 7, PALM BEACH 3: Lednier Ricardo broke a 3-all tie with a two-run double in the fourth and Mickey Jannis, Kelly Secrest and Tyler Bashlor combined to retire the final 17 Cardinals batters. Patrick Biondi added a run-scoring fielder's choice later in the fourth for a 6-3 lead. Meanwhile, after St. Lucie right fielder John Mora threw out Steve Bean trying to stretch a hit into a double in the fourth, the Cardinals did not place another man on base. Jannis allowed three runs on seven hits in five innings. The Mets had staked Jannis to a 3-0 lead, but a sacrifice fly by rehabbing Brayan Pena in the third ultimately tied the score. The Cardinals then loaded the bases with one out, but Jannis coaxed two groundouts to end the inning without further damage. St. Louis pitcher Lance Lynn, removed only 10 months from Tommy John surgery, allowed three runs (one earned) in two innings. He committed an error on Biondi’s game-opening comebacker. <a href="http://stlucie.mets.milb.com/milb/stats/stats.jsp?gid=2016_08_19_sluafa_pbcafa_1&t=g_emy Wolfbox&did=milb&sid=t507" target="_blank">Box
