Minors 7.6.14: Flores homers, again

LAS VEGAS 12, ALBUQUERQUE 1: Noah Syndergaard allowed just one run in seven innings, with no walks and eight strikeouts. And Wilmer Flores homered again, his sixth long ball in the past four days. Left fielder Cesar Puello hit two home runs in his return from a concussion. Kevin Plawecki had three hits and drove in three runs. Box

ERIE 10, BINGHAMTON 9 (10 innings): Third baseman Dustin Lawley hit his 15th home run of the season in a wild game. Erie tied it when Steven Moya homered off Binghamton's Adam Kolarek in the ninth. The SeaWolves scored twice in the top of the 10th, but Binghamton scored on a bases-loaded walk and then had the bases loaded with nobody out. Kyle Johnson and Dilson Herrera struck out, and Brian Burgamy popped up to end it. Travis Taijeron and T.J. Rivera also homered for the B-Mets. Box

SAVANNAH 8, HICKORY 2: Second baseman Jorge Rivero had three hits and drove in three runs for the Sand Gnats. First baseman Dominic Smith, the Mets' first-round draft pick in 2013, also had three hits and drove in two runs. Starter Robert Gsellman allowed two runs in 6 1/3 innings for his seventh win of the season. Box
