Josh Satin produced a solo homer the following inning. Wilmer Flores extended his hitting streak to 19 games. Chasen Bradford surrendered two runs in the bottom of the eighth as Salt Lake pulled to within 6-5, but Danny Muno answered with a solo homer a half-inning later to provide breathing room. The 51s needed the cushion. Bradford also surrendered a run in the ninth and departed with two outs and the tying run on third. After Pill retired nine straight batters, Rob Segedin doubled to lead off the sixth. He scored on Tyler Austin's double. Trailing 4-2, Trenton did the rest of its damage in the seventh. Ali Castillo singled against Adam Kolarek. After Kolarek walked the next two batters, Jon Velasquez entered. Segedin greeted him with a three-run double that gave the Thunder a 5-4 lead. Austin added an RBI single. The B-Mets trimmed their deficit to one run in the bottom half against Mark Montgomery. Nimmo walked and moved to second on a passed ball. Herrera then had an RBI single. Pill allowed two runs in six innings in a no-decision. Kolarek (1-1) was charged with three runs while recording only one out. BREVARD COUNTY 4, ST. LUCIE 3: Jose Sermo blasted a walk-off homer with one out in the bottom of the ninth against T.J. Chism. The long ball came one inning after the Mets had erased a 3-0 deficit and tied the score in the eighth. 2012 first-round pick Gavin Cecchini left the game in the third inning. There was no injury, a team official said. The Manatees scored their first three runs all with two outs. Alfredo Rodriguez singled against Kevin McGowan to plate Cameron Garfield in the fourth. McGowan then held the Manatees in check until he walked the first two batters of the seventh. Julian Hilario entered and recorded two outs, but Michael Reed then singled to drive in both runners. The Mets rallied with two outs in the eighth. Rehabbing designated hitter Taylor TeagardenJared King and Cam Maron consecutively singled against Scott Leiser to get the Mets on the board. Mark Williams then entered and walked Phillip Evans to load the bases. Williams followed by plunking Aderlin Rodriguez and walking Jeff McNeil to force in two runs and even the score at 3. The rally ended when Eudy Pina flied out. In the bottom of the ninth, Chism got Brandon Macias to fly out to start the frame, but Sermo smacked a pitch from the lefty over the left-center wall for the win. season-high 10 strikeouts and the win as the Gnats snapped a five-game losing streak. Savannah grabbed a 2-0 lead in the second inning on sacrifice flies by Colton Plaia and Patrick Biondi.  The Legends scored their lone run against Gsellman in the third inning on Elier Hernandez's infield single. Gsellman stranded two runners that inning, then found his groove. He retired 12 of the final 13 batters he faced, including eight via strikeout. In the fourth, Champ Stuart singled to plate Biondi. Stuart finished 2-for-5 with a double. Matt Oberste singled in the fifth to extend his hitting streak to 18 games. Box

JAMESTOWN 12, BROOKLYN 7 (15 innings): Edioglis Villasmil was charged with five runs in the 15th. The Cyclones had forced extra innings with Will Fulmer's leadoff homer in the bottom of the ninth. It was the 22nd-round pick's first professional homer. Box

GCL CARDINALS 1, GCL METS 0: With two outs in the bottom of the fifth, the Cards produced the lone run when Frankie Rodriguez had an infield single, stole second, advanced to third on a wild pitch from Adrian Almeida and scored on an errant throw by catcher Darryl Knight. The unearned run was the lone damage against Almeida in 5 2/3 innings. Box
