Eagles add 16 undrafted free agents

PHILADELPHIA -- The Philadelphia Eagles agreed to terms with 16 undrafted rookie free agents. They announced the signings Thursday.

The players are:

Long snapper John DePalma, West Virginia: The 6-foot-5, 251-pound DePalma will compete with longtime Eagles long snapper Jon Dorenbos. In 2015, DePalma snapped on 144 punts and kicks without having one blocked.

LB Quentin Gause, Rutgers: The 6-foot, 243-pound Gause is a bit undersized but was a leader at Rutgers.

TE Dillon Gordon, LSU: As his 6-foot-4, 322-pound size suggest, Gordon was used more as a blocker than a pass catcher in college. He caught just seven passes in 29 games over the past three seasons.

G Darrell Greene, San Diego State: The 6-foot-3, 320-pound Greene played primarily at right guard in college. He was reportedly suspended for six games after testing positive for marijuana but came back and played well.

C Bruce Johnson, Maine: The 6-foot-2, 320-pound Johnson won the 2015 Rimington Award as the nation's best center. The award is named for former Nebraska and Eagles center Dave Rimington.

WR Marcus Johnson, Texas: The 6-foot-1, 204-pound Johnson has better size than production in college. He caught 16 passes for 793 yards and four touchdowns in his career at Texas.

WR Cayleb Jones, Arizona: The 6-foot-2, 209-pound Jones caught 128 passes for 1,923 yards and 141 touchdowns during his career at Arizona.

RB Byron Marshall, Oregon: No, Chip Kelly didn't sign him. But the 5-foot-9, 200-pound Marshall fits the Kelly profile. He played RB and WR at Oregon, amassing 3,170 yards and 27 touchdowns.

RB Cedric O'Neal, Valdosta State: The 5-foot-10, 215-pound O'Neal finished his career as Valdosta State's all-time leader in rushing yards (4,115) and touchdowns (49).

WR Hunter Sharp, Utah State: In just two seasons at Utah State, the 5-foot-11, 198-pound Sharp caught 137 passes for 1,774 yards and 16 touchdowns.

DT Aziz Shittu, Stanford: The 6-foot-2, 288-pound Shittu was first-team All-Pac-12 last year as a senior. He had four sacks and 14 tackles for loss.

CB C.J. Smith, North Dakota State: Carson Wentz's college teammate is a 5-foot-11, 189-pound corner who had eight career interceptions for the Bison.

LB Myke Tavarres, Incarnate Word: The 6-foot-1, 230-pound Tavarres had 8.5 sacks last season.

WR Paul Turner, Louisiana Tech: The 5-foot-10, 193-pound Turner transferred from LSU to Lousiana Tech. In two seasons there, he caught 87 passes for 1,171 yards and seven touchdowns.

DT Destiny Vaeao, Washington State: The 6-foot-4, 300-pound Vaeao had seven career sacks and 19 tackles for loss in his three-year playing career at Washington State.

DT Connor Wujciak, Boston College: The 6-foot-2, 290-pound Wujciak had 112 tackles, including 21.5 tackles for loss, in 49 career games at BC.
