          Watch: Steelers complete rare kicker-to-offensive lineman TD pass

          DENVER -- Now that's how to close a half.

          The Pittsburgh Steelers executed a timely fake field goal, tying the Denver Broncos at 10 thanks to kicker Chris Boswell’s touchdown pass to left tackle Alejandro Villanueva.

          The Steelers failed to convert a shovel pass on third-and-goal, so Boswell and the field-goal unit lined up for a 21-yard field goal with 3 seconds left. But Boswell took the snap directly and delivered a perfect pass to a flat-footed Villanueva in the middle of the end zone.

          This play was implemented in practices weeks ago, and the Steelers waited for the perfect time to roll it out. The 6-foot-9 Villanueva has experience catching passes from his days playing at Army.

          Steelers offensive coordinator Randy Fichtner has gone deep into the playbook for some trick-eration. In the first quarter, wide receiver Antonio Brown took a reverse handoff and attempted a pass to running back Jaylen Samuels, which fell incomplete.
