This week we're taking a look at each SEC team's area of strength going into 2017.

Position(s): Offensive backfield

Key losses: RB Kody Walker

Key returnees: QB Austin Allen, RB Rawleigh Williams III, RB Devwah Whaley

Key newcomers: QB Daulton Hyatt, RB Maleek Williams

It's hard to pick just one position because the Razorbacks have a lot of offensive talent returning. So we'll go with the entire offensive backfield, led by the Hogs' 2016 primary playmakers: Allen, Rawleigh Williams and Whaley.

Allen led the SEC in passing yardage (3,430) and threw 25 touchdown passes. He'll need to bring his interception total down from 15, but Allen proved to be more than capable quarterback in his first full season as the starter.

With 1,360 rushing yards, Williams came 28 yards shy of the SEC's season rushing title (he finished third behind Derrius Guice and Nick Fitzgerald) and Whaley showed flashes of his potential also. He finished with a solid 602 rushing yards and three touchdowns on 102 carries, including a 112-yard performance against Mississippi State.

Not only are those three back, but both fullbacks -- Kendrick Jackson and Hayden Johnson -- also return. Running back T.J. Hammonds, who like Whaley played as a true freshman in 2016, is also back as is Allen's backup Ty Storey.

The Razorbacks will added quality depth at quarterback and running back thanks to their 2017 recruiting class with Hyatt, the No. 148 player in the ESPN 300, joining the team at quarterback and four-star running back Maleek Williams joining the plethora of talent in the backfield. Both are already enrolled at Arkansas.
