          ASHBURN, Va. -- Washington Redskins tight end Jordan Reed will miss a sixth straight game as expected because of a hamstring injury. But the Redskins’ offensive line could have both tackles available for Sunday’s game at the Los Angeles Chargers.

          Reed was among three players already ruled out, including safety Montae Nicholson and receiver Maurice Harris. Nicholson, who suffered a concussion against New Orleans on Nov. 19, was limited in practice Monday but did not work thereafter.

          Meanwhile, starting offensive tackles Trent Williams and Morgan Moses were limited in practice and listed as questionable for Sunday. Their presence matters, considering the Chargers’ pass-rush combination of linebacker Melvin Ingram and end Joey Bosa.

          Williams participated in a portion of the individual work before removing his helmet and taking a seat on a cooler near the end of that session. When he has worked on a Friday, Williams has typically played in the ensuing game. Williams will need surgery at some point on his right knee. He also has a bone bruise. Moses likely will need some sort of surgery on at least one of his ankles after the season, though at this point it’s not expected to be anything major. Still, he’s played for most of the season with two sprained ankles.

          Both Moses and Williams will be game-time decisions. Moses has yet to miss a game, though he left last week's loss to Dallas early because of a sprained ankle that required him to be carted off the field. Williams has missed three games because of his knee.

          As for Nicholson, the Redskins had hoped he could develop into their starting safety, but he’ll now miss his third consecutive game. He’s also left other games early because of shoulder issues. But that’s created an opportunity for Deshazor Everett, who will make his third straight start. Everett has played well the past two games.

          Harris suffered a concussion on a kick return versus Dallas and had hoped to play against his cousin, Chargers receiver Keenan Allen. But after being limited the past two days, Harris was unable to practice Friday.

          The Redskins have five other receivers they can use Sunday: Jamison Crowder, Josh Doctson, Ryan Grant, Robert Davis and Brian Quick. Davis was promoted off the practice squad earlier in the week.
