Kelly Bryant comes up limping on the backend of a long run but continues to stay in the game for Missouri. (0:25)

Missouri quarterback Kelly Bryant left Saturday's 29-7 loss to Kentucky with a strained hamstring.

Bryant grabbed at his right hamstring while running out of bounds in the first quarter but stayed in the game until midway through the third quarter.

Coach Barry Odom said Bryant wanted to stay in, but the grad transfer from Clemson "couldn't move the way he needed to to function."

Taylor Powell replaced Bryant with the Tigers losing 22-7, and Missouri did not score again.

Bryant finished 10-of-19 passing for 130 yards -- 74 of which came on a short screen pass to Tyler Badie that went for a touchdown.

Missouri fell to 5-3 and 2-2 in the SEC.
