Best moments and reactions from Michigan's rout of Iowa in Big Ten title game

College Football, Iowa Hawkeyes, Michigan Wolverines

The No. 2 Michigan Wolverines have won the Big Ten championship and seemingly punched their ticket to the College Football Playoff. Michigan dominated the No. 13 Iowa Hawkeyes, winning 42-3. The offense accumulated 461 total yards, the defense forced a turnover -- even the special-teams group got involved, blocking a punt in the fourth quarter.

Michigan, in winning its first conference title since 2004, now waits to see where it will rank when the newest College Football Playoff rankings are released Sunday (noon ET, ESPN). Now that the win is official, their chances have now risen to 98.1%, making them a virtual lock for the playoff.

Here are some of the best moments and plays from the Big Ten title game:

B1G-time win

Wolverines supporters across the web congratulated Michigan on its commanding Big Ten championship game victory.

Everything is "All"-right for Michigan

Erick All needed only one hand to haul in Cade McNamara's first touchdown pass of the game.

Statement made

Michigan's offensive duo struck for the second time as another short touchdown for Hassan Haskins was set up by a sure-handed Luke Schoonmaker catch.

Michigan cashes in

The Wolverines opened the second half with a 10-play, 82-yard drive that was aided by Schoonmaker's impressive grab and capped off with Hassan Haskins' walk into the end zone on the following play. Haskins tied the program's season-single rushing touchdown record with the 4-yard score.

Hutchinson makes history

Aidan Hutchinson's sack late in the first half was one for the history books. His 10-yard takedown of Spencer Petras made him Michigan's single-season sack leader.

Turnover time

Talk about being in the right place at the right time. Jack Campbell picked off a tipped Cade McNamara pass to provide a timely turnover at the end of the first quarter.

Setting the tone

It was only the first quarter, but the Wolverines weren't short on splash plays. Roman Wilson's 75-yard touchdown was the result of a little trickery from Jim Harbaugh & Co.

Wolverines strike first -- and fast

After the Hawkeyes missed a field goal on the game's opening drive, Blake Corum didn't waste any time finding the end zone as the Wolverines drove down the field in just four plays.

No time like showtime

Both squads arrived at Lucas Oil Stadium in style, but the Wolverines had a particularly fashionable fan cheering them on via Twitter.
