          College hoops teams celebrate the season, make their own 'One Shining Moment'

          Every season, college basketball fans wait in eager anticipation for the song to play. You know the one. The tune that represents the culmination of another incredible March Madness tournament: "One Shining Moment."

          The song evokes such nostalgia and grandeur, we're getting slightly emotional just thinking about it. It feels like only yesterday the Virginia Cavaliers were cutting down the nets, the confetti was falling and the skillfully crafted montage of memorable moments from the tourney was beginning to play.

          "One Shining Moment" is a tradition unlike any other. But with the cancellation of the NCAA tournament due to the coronavirus pandemic, the beloved highlight montage won't get to see the light of day. Well, at least not in the way we're accustomed to.

          On what would have been the first week of the tournament, teams across the country took matters into their own hands to commemorate their 2019-20 seasons by sharing unique takes on the famed "One Shining Moment" execution.

          While these videos won't give us our basketball back, they do serve as a fitting send-off to a season that was unceremoniously cut short.
