Right, that's all from us here, this is Ankur Dhawan, signing off on behalf of Liam Brickhill.
Shakib: We can take a lot of confidence from the win. With the team going through a tough time this kind of a win will give a lot more confidence than just an easy win. We hope to carry the momentum to the next game against another difficult opponent.
Afif Hossain is the man of the match: I was trying to be positive, I was getting an opportunity after a long time. I was trying to just time the ball. Enjoyed the partnership with Mosaddek.
Hamilton Masakadza: We were right in the game with the early wickets but it slipped away. The guys did well to get us to a competitive total, particularly Ryan Burl, who had an excellent game.
23.25: Agony for Zimbabwe, ecstasy for Bangladesh. 19-year old Afif Hossain - playing his second international - and Mosaddek Hossain showcased nerves of steel to steer the hosts home in this humdinger that swung this way and that, before their 82-run 7th-wicket stand virtually sealed the deal from a seemingly hopeless 60 for 6. The experienced guys dug up a hole after a promising opening stand and the youngsters pulled them out, and that will please Bangladesh immensely. Should they have had to? Some of the shot selection at the top was questionable but some of the bowling from Zimbabwe was excellent after a sloppy start that had a couple of front foot no-balls. The short ball was used to good effect, as was the slower ball, and Burl had a ball, starting his spell with a wicket before taking a blinder on the fence to bookend his 32-ball unbeaten 57. At that stage, Zimbabwe were overwhelming favourites, but young Afif had other ideas, notching up his maiden fifty in only his second match, to deny the visitors.
