9:21pm So close to pulling it off, the Sixers. Instead they've become the perfect pun with their sixth loss in a row. Billings nearly pulled off one of the greatest T20 innings finishes. The odds were firmly against him finishing this off, if that's any consolation. Perhaps Hurricanes pulled this off at the other end, where they kept Dwarshuis down to 3 off 6 balls. Slender are the margins in this format. Hurricanes won't enjoy that they let Sixers get this close in the first place. But they've managed to hold on for a third win in a row after starting with two losses. Thanks for joining us for this game. Don't forget to head over to Scorchers v Renegades which has already begun. Good night!

Mills to Billings, no run, misses the short ball outside off and he can't believe it. Oh that one was there for the pull. It's what you want when you need six off the last ball. But that skid off the surface that Mills gets, in combination with slightly anxious hands, has saved the Hurricanes.

Mills to Billings, SIX, he's done it! He's brought it to the last ball! Completely figured Mills out here. Shuffles across, gets low, picks the slower ball and sweeps it over deep square leg

Mills to Billings, SIX, smashes it over the midwicket boundary. Anticipates a bouncer and stays very deep in the crease. Then he drags it from wide outside off and clears the fence

Three sixes now, the easy equation

Mills to Dwarshuis, 1 run, slower ball, back of a length on middle stump. Makes room and cuts. Inside edge, pitchside, in the leg side
19.2
1
Mills to Billings, 1 run, slower bouncer on middle stump, not enough power on the hook as he's made to wait for it. Gets it aerially towards deep square

2
Mills to Billings, 2 runs, length ball wide outside off, looks to punch into the off side, away from the body. Big inside edge down to fine leg. Goes back for the suicidal second run. Fielder shies at the stumps and misses. The bowler, a few yards behind the stumps suddenly realises he could have been a lot closer and finished the game off there
