Scorer: Ranjith P | Commentator: @Vishal1686

9.45pm Handshakes all around as the crowd got a great game today. Rashid comes around to Philippe and says something with a smile, great scenes. Philippe of Rashid today: 23 off six balls, with three fours and a six. Excellent performance from the Sixers again, showing why they've been doing well this season. It initially looked like the Strikers were running away towards a massive total on this batting pitch, being 1 for 56 in the powerplay, before the return of Josh Hazlewood to BBL after six seasons put the brakes on them. The Sixers' opening stand set the tone for the chase, especially from Avendano, before Philippe blunted Rashid and stayed till the end to ensure victory.

That's all from me, tonight, fellas. It's Vishal Dikshit and Ranjith signing off, with this tweet that sumps up the match:

Siddle to Curran, SIX, sealed with six, have you heard that before? Curran finishes it off by swinging the full toss down the ground, brings out a big smile and gets a hug from Philippe

Siddle to Curran, no run, wide yorker at 129kmh, Curran chases and misses

Philippe gives some advice to Curran. Siddle needs some stinging yorkers now

Siddle to Philippe, 1 run, a yorker, inside edge to leg for a single

Neser to Curran, FOUR, and he finishes the over in style, a four makes it 21 from the over as Curran makes room and slaps it wide of deep cover. The fielder puts in a dive to his right, gets a hand, but the ball rolls way to hit the rope

Curran will face his first ball
