That win leaves SRH with eight points from 10 games, and a fifth position on the table. The same as KXIP but better on NRR. Their campaigns have some life yet. Thanks for joining us. See you tomorrow

Manish Pandey, Man of the Match: "Enough talks had happened around the middle order. High time for us to perform. Had a word with Laxman sir and the coaches. Didn't want too many thoughts. Just hold my shape and play my shots. Two really good batsmen that we lost, but as someone said, this was an opportunity for us to win the game. And it was long due. Our plan was to see Jofra off even if he had bowled a third. We had two leggies and a couple of Indian fast bowlers to go after. I just middled the first ball, and automatically I thought if I keep my shape and use the Powerplay, I could finish this well before the final over."

David Warner: "It was a stunning performance. Starts with the toss where you questioned my decision to chase. We were able to bring them back after Powerplay. All in all, the kind of game we were asking for. I was frustrated that in these games because in these games against world-class bowlers, when there is a bit of seam or swing. And it is jagging at 150ks. And you are trying to get through the over. And the edge goes straight to hand. Jason adds an extra string to our bow. His height. His experience. And he couldn't bat today, but he is an all-round package. It is just great to show people that we do have a middle order. For them to come out and play like this, I am so happy for them. They showed they can build a platform for us to get across the line. Or set a big total. I am chuffed for them. We probably are a better defending team, but my decision to chase was based on the last two games. And the weather is cooler, with dew around, it might be flipping around for evertone."

Steven Smith: "I thought we started really well. Jofra obviously taking the tow big wickets early. But we couldn't keep the foot on the pedal. The wicket got better. There was a fair bit of dew on for some reason. The third over for Jofra was on my mind, discussed it with a couple of guys. In hindsight, yeah, should have bowled a third straight over."

SRH's first successful chase this year, and how convincing. And how it has come despite failures for the two big overseas batsmen. Despite their limitations, SRH bowled smartly to keep RR in check before Pandey just ran away with the chase despite a red-hot Archer spell that left them down at 2 for nothing. He kisses his bat as he walks off. Which is just as well. Everything came off the middle tonight. This will leave RR in the all-but-out box with CSK. And RR will go into the bracket occupied by KXIP, and before this night, RR: in with a reasonable chance

Kartik Tyagi to Shankar, FOUR, and that is the match and the fifty in one clean swing. Tyagi pitches it short, and he pulls him stylishly over midwicket

Pandey won't get a hundred, but Shankar has a chance to get to a fifty to go with his three tight overs and the huge wicket of Buttler
