3.5 defeated by the lack of pace! The promotion up the order fails to pay off. Holder bangs this in short on off, Hafeez goes to pull and is well out in front, the ball caroms off the toe, almost the back of the blade and flutters between Charles and slip. Charles dives to his right to take this at knee height. 13/1
7.6 slog swept to deep midwicket! Lewis played and missed that shot earlier in the over and this time connects sweetly but doesn't get the elevation on a full length ball on off. Jonathan Carter comes in 10 yards from the rope and takes a sharp catch crouching forward at knee height. The American cannot be stopped! 46/2

15.6 castled with a googly nice loop on that, and Brooks went for the slog sweep. The shot was on to the googly, but the ball didn't really spin back sharply and sneaked through to disturb the stumps. Fine innings by Brooks ends 114/5
10.3 good catch and a very good ball gets him the breakthrough. Slightly back of a length and it just rears up disconcertingly while angling across Evans but still close to his body. No room to cut, which he was trying to do and the bounce meant it went between chest and shoulders, flies to the keeper's right, who plucks it 61/3
14.5 plucked out at long-on by Holder. Another agriculture cross-batted slog, but he connected well. However, Holder was at long on and he moved a few steps to his left and held it with both hands stretched full over his head. Smart catch, the ball was travelling at pace and he made it look very easy 104/4
16.1 arm ball nails him in front. Goes around the wicket and pitches it on a length, Brathwaite takes a lunge out and wants to defend the ball but it goes with the angle and hits him on the pad. Looked close and given out 114/6

19.6 and he ends it by going straight through the batsman to rearrange the stumps. Length ball dug into the pitch and coming in a touch, Allen was looking to send it over deep midwicket but misses - and Gurney doesn't. 149/7

2.2 slower ball lands on a full length on middle, Charles is through a drive and drags a catch softly to mid-on five yards in from the ring, taken at knee height crouching forward by Brathwaite. 15/1
7.6 Cottrell pulls off a stunner running back from short fine leg all while avoiding a catastrophic collision with Cottoy! Fullish length on middle stump, Hales tries to flick over midwicket but gets a big top/leading edge swirling over fine leg. Cottrell was at short fine and sprinted backwards while Cottoy ran in from deep backward square. Cottrell reaches out after covering 25 yards and avoids Cottoy, who arguably had a much better angle coming in for the chance but wisely pulls out as Cottrell slides his legs into Cottoy's ankles. It could have been far far worse but not only do they both come out of it in one piece, Cottrell holds on! 56/2
11.3 picks out long-on. Key strike by Brathwaite, but Shakib might feel he's thrown it away. Danced down the track and went over the top but didn't really get underneath the ball, ends up half-chipping and half-hitting it. Brooks at long-on makes ground to his left and takes a low catch 85/3
15.1 nicked to the keeper! The Patriots can smell that qualification spot now. Back of a length moving across Duminy, who tried to steer it to third man but ends up with a fine edge to the keeper. He hadn't had too much strike and just watched wickets fall in a clump, but now he's gone himself 99/7
11.6 chopped on! Carter is distraught, he can't believe what he's done. A fairly innocuous ball on a length on the fourth stump line, and he was looking to run it down to third man. Instead, he gets a thin edge that almost guides the ball to the stumps 87/4
13.5 gives himself room to slap this over extra cover, but Emrit didn't give him the room to free his arms, and the length was on the shorter side, which meant Holder can only slice it up in the air for mid-off to take an easy catch 95/5
14.4 plumb in front. Nurse's footwork is nowhere as Cottrell brings one into him from around the wicket, hits him flush on the pad right in front and that would have probably crashed into leg stump. The umpire is quick to uphold the appeal, and out comes the Cottrell salute 97/6
19.2 Reifer is run out going for a suicidal second! This match continues to twist and turn. This was full and on the fifth stump line, Reifer drilled straight drive to long-off. It was hit so well there was never a chance of two, but they went for it anyway. Laurie Evans kept his cool and threw it at the right end, and the keeper flicked off the bails with Reifer well short. He had brought it down to a run a ball, was that attempted second run necessary? 146/9
18.5 slower ball, doesn't get underneath it and tries to go big, driving off his toes but it is straight down long-on's throat. 137/8

19.6 castled! Patriots sneak through by one run and are in the playoffs. Kept it full, straight and true, and Gurney backed away to try and smash it through cover, only to lose his stumps. He had bowled an excellent last over himself, but was the receiving end now. 148/10
