The Australians are absolutely ecstatic, one can easily see how much the win means to them. A contrast to the New Zealand dug-out, where emotions are very low. Devine, who top-scores with 38 from 35, got New Zealand so close, but one can't help but think they should have launched a charge sooner, despite the loss of wickets. There were a lot of dot balls in New Zealand's innings too, as their batsmen struggled against a thoroughly professional effort from Australia in the field. They played like the champions that they now are. Ellyse Perry is Player of the Match for her three wickets.
So, after playing in both finals, Australia do finally walk away with a trophy today. The men's side had stayed to support the women, they cheered every run and every wicket. Peter English has a bulletin in, so do have a look at that as it's a top effort. That's all from us tonight folks, goodbye from me, Liam Brickhill, and from my colleagues Andrew Miller and Sahil Dutta. Until next time.
Very tense out there now, 5 from 1
A boundary now will make things very interesting...
11 from 4...
