The Australians are absolutely ecstatic, one can easily see how much the win means to them. A contrast to the New Zealand dug-out, where emotions are very low. Devine, who top-scores with 38 from 35, got New Zealand so close, but one can't help but think they should have launched a charge sooner, despite the loss of wickets. There were a lot of dot balls in New Zealand's innings too, as their batsmen struggled against a thoroughly professional effort from Australia in the field. They played like the champions that they now are. Ellyse Perry is Player of the Match for her three wickets.

So, after playing in both finals, Australia do finally walk away with a trophy today. The men's side had stayed to support the women, they cheered every run and every wicket. Peter English has a bulletin in, so do have a look at that as it's a top effort. That's all from us tonight folks, goodbye from me, Liam Brickhill, and from my colleagues Andrew Miller and Sahil Dutta. Until next time.

1
Perry to Devine, 1 run, they've done it! Australia win! Devine drove the ball back at the bowler really hard, she had to get something on it as it was hit dead straight, and she did! Perry got a boot on it, Sthalekar ran in to field the re-bound, and Australia win!

Very tense out there now, 5 from 1

2
Perry to Devine, 2 runs, slashed away really hard behind point, brilliant fielding on the boundary keeps them down to two again - Nitschke it was!

A boundary now will make things very interesting...

19.4
2
Perry to Devine, 2 runs, she comes down the track and hammers one down to long off, they've got to come back for two, they do!
19.3
2
Perry to Devine, 2 runs, driven out over extra cover again, this one didn't quite have the timing, but they sprint really hard to pick up two

11 from 4...

2
Perry to Devine, 2 runs, driven superbly! Lofted with great timing over the covers, the fielder sprinted round to cut it off and after several replays that's given as two runs. Very close to the boundary though
19.1
1
Perry to Perry, 1 run, punched back to the bowler, who can't quite stop it, Devine charges down to get back on strike, colliding with the bowler but making it in safely in the end. 13 off 5 needed now!

6
Farrell to Devine, SIX, she's got hold of this one! Half volley on leg stump, Devine stays deep in the crease and murders one high over wide long on. Great strike, but has it come too late for New Zealand?
18.5
4
Farrell to Devine, FOUR, there's a shot! Devine makes some room and smashes the ball in the air straight back over Farrell's head and away for four! They need a few more of those
18.4
2
Farrell to Devine, 2 runs, swung away to wide long on, the timing was good on the shot but there's a fielder out there. They push hard for the second run, but it's not going to make much of a difference at this stage
18.3
1
Farrell to Perry, 1 run, another yorker, jammed out to mid off and they steal a run
18.2
1
Farrell to Devine, 1 run, very full from around the wicket, Devine swings hard but can't get her away, sending the ball to fine leg via the inside edge
18.1
1
Farrell to Perry, 1 run, lofted down to long on, they take one despite the fielder being slightly slow in off the ropes

Perry to Perry, 1 run, nips in off the seam this time, she drops the ball on the off side and they sprint through for one
17.5
W
Perry to Browne, OUT, gone! Back of a length, wobbling away a touch through the air and off the pitch to take a thin edge off Browne's flashing blade. Healy makes no mistake, and New Zealand are just about buried now

1
Perry to Devine, 1 run, Devine drives, the ball squirts off the outside edge down to third man and just one run is the result
17.3
1
Perry to Browne, 1 run, she gets the left leg out the way this time and aims a hoick over midwicket, but is beaten by the pace. They steal a single off an inside edge
17.2
0
Perry to Browne, no run, inexplicably, Browne has left this one alone outside off stump. It was full and a little wide, but the leave was never on, especially with almost two runs needed every ball
17.1
1
Perry to Devine, 1 run, Devine makes room, drops the ball into the covers and they set off

They'll need to get runs off Australia's fastest bowler, though, as Perry comes back into the attack. It's 11 an over from here on in

END OF OVER:

2
Farrell to Browne, 2 runs, she gets down on one knee to paddle sweep the extra ball - a full toss on leg stump - down to fine leg, and hard running gets them two. But it's boundaries New Zealand need now!
16.6
1w
Farrell to Browne, 1 wide, well, there's an extra as Farrell fires this one down leg
16.5
0
Farrell to Browne, no run, driven to deep mid off, the run was on but Browne sent Devine back. She only just scampered back in time, not sure why they didn't just run
16.4
1
Farrell to Devine, 1 run, punched down the ground, one more to the total but Australia won't be minding these singles
16.3
1
Farrell to Browne, 1 run, very full and on the toes, Browne shuffles across and flicks to leg. They can only push for one, though, which isn't good enough at this stage
16.2
1
Farrell to Devine, 1 run, full toss on the pads from round the wicket, she heaves to leg but sends it straight out to the fielder, and they settle for one
