Mr. Thilanga Sumathipala - President of Sri Lanka Cricket and Chairman of Cricket Aid is of view that Sri Lanka Cricket is committed in keeping the promise of building 200 houses and looking after the Tsunami effected children who are under the Foster Parent Scheme. Mr. Sumathipala further stated: "These people, especially the children who lost hope on 26th December 2004, we gave them relief and hope through Cricket Aid. They cannot be forgotten and they must be taken care of. Due to the fault of others they cannot lose hope again".
