MI opt to chase and make two changes; no Hazlewood for RCB

Jacob Duffy wreaked havoc with the new ball again BCCI

Toss Mumbai Indians chose to bowl vs Royal Challengers Bangalore

The toss is always big in the night games at the Wankhede Stadoum, and Mumbai Indians have won it and expectedly decided to chase. They welcomed back Mitchell Santner into the XI. He replaced AM Ghazanfar. They also got Mayank Markande in for Deepak Chahar.

Royal Challengers Bengaluru, who failed to defend 200-plus in their last match but against the rampaging Vaibhav Sooryavanshi, would have loved to chase theselves but will back themselves against a more manageable batting line-up than any that contains Sooryavanshi and Yashavi Jaiswal at the top.

RCB did make one change, leaving out Josh Hazlewood, who went for 44 in his four in the last match, for Jacob Duffy. The other change was no Abhinandan Singh in the list of substitutes. That raised the possibility of Mangesh Yadav or Rasikh Dar coming in during the defence later in the night.
