Great Britain enjoyed a dominant finish to the Track Cycling World Cup as Laura Kenny and Katie Archibald won gold in the Madison.

The pair smashed the field in London to add another win to the title they picked up ahead on the United States in the team pursuit on Friday.

Matt Walls secured another gold for Great Britain by winning the omnium later in the evening.

After a crash eliminated both the US and Russian teams, the British pair of Kenny and Archibald took control and racked up sprint points early on.

Despite a strong challenge from the Australian duo of Amy Cure and Annette Edmondson, Kenny flew home in a lightning-fast final lap to finish with 34 points, way clear of the Australians on 19.

With their victory Kenny and Archibald strengthened their case for success at the Tokyo Games when the Madison returns to the cycling programme.

Four-time Olympic champion Kenny has said she intends to add the Madison to the team pursuit and omnium, the two events in which she has won back-to-back Olympic titles, when she races in Tokyo in 2020.

Archibald -- herself an Olympic champion in the team pursuit at Rio in 2016 -- is making a strong case to be Kenny's partner.

Meanwhile Walls won a dramatic points race to ensure his third medal of the weekend.

The women's team pursuit quartet of Kenny, Archibald, Ellie Dickinson and Neah Evans won their gold on Friday night.

He had already won a bronze in the team pursuit and a silver alongside Fred Wright in the Madison on Saturday.
