For Kentucky, keep a close eye on the improved Keith Bogans; he will demonstrate his slashing ability. Bogans is much faster than last season as he has dropped 20 pounds.

I think you will see a much more confident Bogans this season. He has a year of experience under his belt, and that makes a difference. He understands what to expect right from the start of the season. Bogans will be a big-time scorer on the perimeter for Kentucky.

The Wildcats want to get him good looks at the basket, and he will take good shots. Tubby Smith also knows Bogans will be outstanding in transition.

Gooden is great
Drew Gooden is a key player for Kansas. He will be active both rebounding and scoring on the baseline.

Look for the super soph to be aggressive on the glass while demonstrating his ability as an inside scorer. The Jayhawks are very deep and talented, but Gooden could be the standout for the Coaches vs. Cancer IKON Classic at Madison Square Garden this week.
