	A focused Loren Woods is a big plus for Arizona.

This is a great time for Arizona center Loren Woods to make a statement. His Wildcats have key Pac-10 games against USC and UCLA.

Arizona will have a chance to show it is back and Woods will be a key on both ends of the court. After missing the first six games of the season, he is rounding into shape.

The seven-footer had a triple-double (13 points, 10 rebounds and 10 blocked shots) against Washington State. He has the ability to not only block shots but also change an opponent's decision, forcing a bad pass or shot choice.

It will be interesting to see how he does in his weekend showdown against UCLA's big man on campus, Dan Gadzuric. Woods should be ready for the challenge as the Wildcats try to show their preseason hype is legitimate.

Woods and Arizona have had to overcome a lot of adversity already. Will he be the PTPer the 'Cats need to score the big Ws here?
