After a long regular season, the bowl games and College Football Playoff are now set. Twelve teams, led by No. 1 Indiana Hoosiers, will lay it all on the line for a chance to be crowned the National Champion.
The champions of the Big Ten, SEC, Big 12, American Conference and Sun Belt will join seven at-large squads in the field of contenders. Elsewhere, teams that finished .500 or better will get to play in a bowl game, matched up against teams of a similar level in neutral sites all around the country.
The first bowls, as well as Army Black Knights vs. Navy Midshipmen, kick off on Saturday, Dec. 13 with the Bucked Up LA Bowl.
The College Football Playoff begins with the first round on Dec. 19-20, continues with the quarterfinals on Dec. 31 and Jan. 1, then the semifinals on Jan. 8 and 9, leading to the National Championship on Jan. 19 in Miami Gardens, Florida.
