Earlier this month, we sought the opinion of our readers and sport fans on who is 21st century's most dominant athlete or team, from a shortlist of 16.

In the end, Rafael Nadal with his 12 titles at the French Open came out on top -- ahead of Usain Bolt's stellar performances at the Olympics.
