Led in part by players from the WNBA, NBA and college football, athletes say the fight for social justice will continue, including leading voter registration drives, fighting voter suppression and promoting get-out-the-vote efforts.

The NCAA encouraged its member schools to designate Nov. 3 as a day off for major college athletics.
