Chess: The Tata Steel India (Rapid & Blitz) Chess tournament concludes with Blitz rounds 10 to 18, with Viswanathan Anand, Arjun Erigaisi, Divya Deshmukh, R Vaishali among the Indians in action.
Shooting: The Asian Shooting (Shotgun) Championship begins in Doha, Qatar.

WHIL: The SG Pipers were crowned champions after a shootout win over Shrachi Bengal Tigers in the WHIL final.
Badminton: PV Sindhu lost her Malaysia Open semifinal against Wang Zhi Yi in straight games.
Chess: Wesley So in sole lead, Erigaisi & Nihal not far behind in Blitz.
Football: AIFF asked ISL clubs to send details of venues for home matches by Monday noon.
Boxing: Nikhat, Lovlina won titles at Boxing Nationals; Hussamuddin capped off his comeback with gold.
