The face of Australian rugby sevens will remain with the code after Charlotte Caslick opted against a switch to rugby league.
The Olympic gold medallist has inked a new contract that will keep her on board for Australia's title defence at the Tokyo Games in 2020.
The 23-year-old's retention comes after the Brisbane product had reportedly attracted offers from a number of NRL Women's clubs before the competition's inaugural season.
Australia won the most recent world series but have a mountain to climb to retain that status after being humbled by both New Zealand and France late in the season.
But newly-installed coach John Manenti says the 2016 world player of the year can keep improving and lead their charge.
"Charlie is known for her brilliance in attack, speed, step and passing, but it's been her defence and contact that has taken her game to new heights," he said of Caslick.
"I'm looking forward to seeing Charlotte continue to grow as a rugby player and reach new heights over the next two years."
Caslick's re-signing follows on from fellow Olympic gold medallists Emilee Cherry and Evania Pelite committing their futures to Australia's rugby sevens program last week.
"We've built a really strong culture within the Aussie sevens program and it's an exciting time for our squad under a new head coach in John," Caslick said.
"As a team we have very high aspirations and I can't wait to get stuck in to the hard work in the Australian sevens jersey over the next two years."
