Despite struggling all split long in League of Legends Champions Korea, bbq Olivers showed up in a major way Saturday, stunning Jin Air Green Wings in a 2-0 series sweep to open Week 6, Day 4 in Seoul, South Korea.

Bbq Olivers (3-9, 8-20 match record) may have only had two series wins to its name at the outset of this series, but it would have been tough to guess that Saturday. While Jin Air (5-7, 13-15 match record) managed to keep pace with bbq throughout the early games, the Olivers swiftly closed the door every time.

In Game 1 bbq broke the early stalemate with a flurry of kills 10 minutes in that was accentuated by jungler Choi "Bless" Hyeon-woong's Elise finding three kills in the span of five minutes. From then on, bbq picked off kill after kill to dominate every aspect of the map. While Jin Air mid laner Lee "Kuzan" Seong-hyuk's Lucian somehow managed to steal the first Baron with his ultimate, The Culling, it only served to delay the inevitable. Bbq shrugged it off and kept lighting up Jin Air to finish the game with an 18-7 kill advantage in the 40-minute win.

Jin Air was searching for answers in the second match and thought that it had found them in the form of a heavy teamfighting composition straight out of the League of Legends Pro League playbook. It looked promising initially for Jin Air, which found three kills by punishing a botched dive from bbq just a few minutes in. The game remained even until bbq Olivers got three kills and a Baron at 22 minutes. The onslaught didn't stop there, either; bbq poured in another 11 kills before taking down Jin Air's Nexus in 34 minutes. AD carry Jang "Ghost" Yong-jun was the runaway MVP for bbq with an incredible 9/1/8 KDA (kills/deaths/assists) with his Kog'Maw in the win.

While playoffs are all but out of reach for bbq, it will hope to build on this win to stave off elimination when it faces the Afreeca Freecs on Tuesday at 7 a.m. ET, while Jin Air will look to topple the giants of SK Telecom T1 on Tuesday at 4 a.m. ET.
