Don't forget to sign up for the Hearthstone Open Qualifiers while at Rush

Activision Blizzard

This coming weekend, Kwesé Gamer will be hosting a Hearthstone Fireside Gathering at the first-ever Rush esports event.

Rush is a celebration of everything esports, and as part of our Fireside Gathering we will also be accepting entries for our own ESL African Championship's Hearthstone tournament.

The Open Qualifiers will be held on 29 and 30 July, and it is important to note that registration and qualifiers are open to all Africans, and not just South Africans.

If you participated in the Fireside Gathering and think you have what it takes to go into a more competitive setting, Kwesé Gamer staff will be on hand to help you register for the Qualifiers.

You would need to be at Rush in Johannesburg to do so, but if you want to register online you can do that by following the link to the official signup page. In the first open qualifiers earlier this year, nine different African nations were represented, and reached as far Algeria, Madagascar and even Mauritius.

The finals for the first season of ESL African Championship's Hearthstone portion will be played over this weekend as well to determine the winner of the group stages, and those games will be broadcast live from RUSH.
