Michallik: Cuadrado has been Juventus' most consistent player (1:48)

Janusz Michallik praises the work rate of Juan Cuadrado after Juventus' 3-1 victory over Genoa. (1:48)

What a weekend of football. Real Madrid put on their best big-game faces and beat Barcelona in a thrilling Clasico. With Real Betis holding Atletico Madrid to a draw, the big three are now separated by just two points. Leeds United, down to 10 men, stunned Manchester City and Manchester United came from behind to beat Tottenham Hotspur. West Ham beat Leicester City 3-2, while Chelsea and Liverpool both registered wins, which means those four teams are now separated by just four points. All the top teams in Italy won. Bayern Munich didn't, allowing RB Leipzig to close the gap at the top to five.

By The Numbers has the best stats from all of the action:

Premier League

4

Leeds United have become just the fourth promoted side to win away against the PL leaders in the competition's history, after Ipswich Town at Norwich City in December 1992, Derby County at Manchester United in April 1997 and Hull City at Arsenal in September 2008.

One more from that remarkable game -- Stuart Dallas is the first player to score a 90th-minute winning goal against Manchester City at the Etihad since Robin van Persie for Manchester United in December 2012.

10

This has not been Jose Mourinho's season (yet)-- he has suffered 10 league defeats in a single season for the first time in his entire managerial career.

18

Another unwanted record for Mourinho -- the 18 points Spurs have dropped from winning positions in the PL this season is the most a Mourinho side has lost in a single PL campaign. Only Brighton & Hove Albion have dropped more points from winning positions this season.

23

Manchester United's unbeaten run in away PL games currently stands at 23 (W15, D8). In the history of the English top-flight, only Arsenal (27, between April 2003 and September 2004) have had a longer such streak.

37

Trent Alexander-Arnold's late winner was the 37th winning goal that Liverpool have scored in the 90th minute (or later) in the PL era. That's at least 12 more than any other side in that time.

50

Alexandre Lacazette is the sixth Frenchman to score 50 PL goals for a single club, with four of the six doing it for Arsenal (after Thierry Henry, Robert Pires and Olivier Giroud).

La Liga

1

Ronald Koeman is the first Barcelona manager to lose his first two Clásicos since Joaquim Rife in 1980.

2

Real Madrid have won both La Liga games in a season against Barcelona for the first time since 2007-08. They won the title that season.

3

This is Real Madrid's third consecutive win against Barcelona in all competitions. It's the first time that's happened since three straight La Liga Clasicos from December 1977 to September 1978.

9

By scoring the first goal in El Clasico, Karim Benzema ended a nine-game scoring drought against Barcelona in all competitions; it's his longest without scoring against a single team since joining Real Madrid.

98

Real Madrid have increased their all-time Clasico lead to 98 - 96 (52 draws).

Serie A

7

Atalanta are one of only two teams in the top-5 European leagues, the other being Bayern Munich, with four players who have provided at least seven assists this season.

7/7

For the first time since February 2017, all the clubs that started a matchday in the top seven of the Serie A points table, won their matches.

Ronaldo-Messi watch

Juventus beat Genoa 3-1 but Cristiano Ronaldo had a quiet night out. Lionel Messi had a rather livelier game (including an attempted Olimpico that bounced off the far post), but didn't register a goal or an assist in Barcelona's 2-1 loss.

7

Messi has now gone seven Clasicos without a goal -- that's the longest drought in the career of the all-time top scorer in Clasicos (26).

Incidentally, Messi had seven shots on the night, tied for his most in a game without scoring vs Real Madrid.

45

With Sergio Ramos missing the Clasico due to injury, Messi has now equalled the Madrid captain for the most Clasico appearances of all time (45).
