Man United to beat Wolves in FA Cup? Watford set for upset?

Burnley failing to score at Chelsea scuppered a 4/1 treble at the weekend as Liverpool strengthened their position at the top of the Premier League. There's FA Cup and Coppa Italia action for punters to get stuck into this week including Manchester United's third round replay with Wolves.

Running total: -£22.52

The Banker

After their shocking capitulation in the Carabao Cup semifinal first leg against Manchester City the FA Cup is now Manchester United's only realistic chance of silverware, so Ole Gunnar Solskjaer will surely go with a strong XI for their third round replay against Wolves. The Red Devils were excellent in beating Norwich City 4-0 at the weekend while Wolves laboured to a 1-1 draw at home to Newcastle United. Wolves don't have a huge squad and, having played a lot of domestic and Europa League football already this season, they could struggle at Old Trafford, where United are even money to win in 90 minutes.

Marcus Rashford celebrated his 200th game for Manchester United by scoring a brace against Norwich and the England youngster now has 64 goals for the club. If he starts on Wednesday, Rashford can help United plot a path into round four.

Selection: £6 on Manchester United to win at evens with bet365.

The Tasty Treble

Tottenham are big favourites to beat Middlesbrough second time around, but Boro are on a roll in 2020 and both teams to score could be the bet at 11/10 when the teams meet again in the FA Cup on Tuesday night. Jonathan Woodgate's side are unbeaten since Dec.14 and will head to the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium quietly confident of springing a shock against a Spurs side who have not won since Boxing Day.

Elsewhere in the FA Cup, Blackpool look worth siding with to beat Reading. The Tangerines were backed heavily to win first time around and should have won the game but for Armand Gnanduillet hitting the crossbar late on with his 'Panenka' penalty. Blackpool will be fresh having enjoyed a free weekend and look worth a go at 9/5.

Add in Manchester United to beat Wolves at evens for an FA Cup treble playing over 10/1 with bet365.

Selection: £4 on the treble at 10.76/1 with bet365.

The Euro Wager

Zlatan Ibrahimovic scored his first goal since returning to AC Milan at the weekend and the cocksure Swede looks tempting at 100/30 to score first when AC Milan host SPAL in the Coppa Italia on Wednesday. Ibrahimovic has now scored in four different decades from the 1990s to the present day and, with SPAL rooted to the foot of Serie A, the Rossoneri will surely fancy their chances of progressing at the San Siro.

Selection: £3 on Ibrahimovic to score first at 100/30 with bet365.

The Wildcard Tip

Tranmere are 4/1 to beat Watford on Tuesday in the FA Cup and the League One outfit could be worth a small interest. Nigel Pearson was unapologetic for making nine changes as Watford threw away a three-goal lead in a dramatic first encounter. Afterwards Pearson was very matter of fact about how his team are approaching the competition this season: "For me the priority has got to be the Premier League. I can't sit in front of you and try to give you a feeling that everything is equal in terms of how we look at competitions. Unfortunately for us the FA Cup is not the priority." Despite such statements, bet365 still make Watford 13/20 favourites but an upset could be on the cards at Prenton Park.

Selection: £2 on Tranmere to win at 4/1 with bet365.
