Can Guardiola get one over on Mourinho when Man City visit Tottenham?

We took down a 7/2 winner as Aston Villa beat Leicester City in midweek and enjoyed a healthy profit as Liverpool eased to yet another Premier League win against West Ham. The Premier League action continues this weekend with some crucial games at the top and bottom of table, including Manchester City's trip to Tottenham.

Running total: -£39.92

The Banker

Tottenham have looked short of ideas up front since losing Harry Kane through injury and could struggle to match the fluidity and creativity of Pep Guardiola's Manchester City. It's been a difficult season for Guardiola following their complete domestic dominance in 2018-19, but his team are still 17 points better off than Spurs after 24 games and should do the business in north London.

Aymeric Laporte could feature for the visitors having played 75 minutes against Sheffield United recently, and his influence cannot be underestimated. The Citizens have managed 11 clean sheets in the French defender's last 15 league starts, but only five in the 19 games they started without him. Laporte's enforced absence is a big reason why they are so far behind in the title race but Manchester City look good things here to beat a side who have managed just three clean sheets themselves in their last 20 matches.

Selection: £5 on Manchester City (-1) to win at 13/10 with bet365.

The First Goal Flutter

Manchester United have been leaking goals at home in recent weeks and were shocking in their last league outing at Old Trafford, losing 2-0 to Burnley. With Marcus Rashford sidelined, Raul Jimenez could cash in and the Wolves striker is 5/1 to score first on Saturday evening. The Mexican has scored three in his last two games and will fancy his chances against this Red Devils defence.

Selection: £2 on Jimenez to score first at 5/1 with bet365.

The Tasty Treble

Newcastle United are unbeaten in their last six matches in all competitions and look a tempting price at 6/5 to see off Norwich City on Tyneside. The Canaries have scored just six goals on the road this season and that doesn't bode well against a very frugal Toon defence.

Arsenal are even money favourites to beat Burnley and they have a strong recent record against the Clarets. Indeed the returning Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has scored seven goals in his last four matches against Burnley.

Finally add in 'Over 2.5 goals' at 4/6 when Leicester City host Chelsea on Saturday. Leicester will be hoping Jamie Vardy can return to torment a Chelsea defence that has not kept many clean sheets this season. The Premier League treble is paying well over 6/1 with bet365 and looks interesting.

Selection: £4 on the treble at 6.33/1 with bet365.

The Euro Wager

Lazio's majestic 11-game winning run was halted recently by Roma but they can get back on track by beating lowly SPAL on Sunday. The latter have been toiling in Serie A's basement for much of the season and free-scoring Lazio have enough quality in attack to cover a two-goal handicap in Rome this weekend.

Selection: £4 on Lazio (-2) to win at 6/4 with bet365.

The Wildcard Tip

Huge game at the bottom as West Ham host Brighton and with David Moyes' squad still decimated by injuries to key men, 7/4 Brighton could be the value here. The Hammers faced Liverpool on Wednesday night while Brighton should be fresh having had 10 days to prepare for this.

Selection: £1 on Brighton to win 1-0 at 9/1 with bet365.
