Worst FIFA glitch ever?

The EA Sports FIFA video game is one of the most popular in the world. Everyone who has played the game at one time or another has conceded a goal or two that makes you want to throw your controller! Well one FIFA gamer has conceded maybe the most unlikely and most frustrating goal that we have ever seen in the game.

I mean just look at this...

Our user, playing as Borussia Dortmund in yellow, thinks he's in for an equaliser against Real Madrid but that's when everything goes wrong. His close-range shot deflects off the Real Madrid keeper's knee and travels over 100 yards to the edge of the opposite box, where his onrushing keeper is victimised by a brutal bounce. We have all encountered plenty of bad luck and bad glitches in FIFA but nothing quite like this. Our hearts go out to this FIFA player and we can only hope he didn't destroy his controller and/or tele after this glitch-aided goal.

Watford keeper Foster ties for team lead in shots on goal

Watford sit bottom of the Premier League table so it isn't a huge surprise that they struggled to create much offensively against third-placed Chelsea on Saturday. The Hornets managed just two shots on goal from open play all evening at Vicarage Road, one from Roberto Pereyra and one from Ben Foster. You could be forgiven for thinking that the last statistic was an error or misprint in the match report, as Foster is obviously Waford's goalkeeper. But that is no mistake, as Foster, who had rushed forward for a last-ditch ball into the box, actually got a head to Abdoulaye Doucoure's cross and was denied a last-second equaliser only by a brilliant Kepa Arrizabalaga save.

Foster, who also made eight saves on the night, some of them spectacular, was bidding to become the first goalkeeper to score in the Premier League since Asmir Begovic scored for Stoke in 2013. While Foster did not join that exclusive club, he is no stranger to goalkeeper goals himself, as he was victimised by a long punt from Tottenham's Paul Robinson back in 2007!

Things aren't going well at the moment for Watford and when your goalkeeper creates your best chance of a match from open play, that says a lot about the listlessness of your attack...
