TOP STORY: Sanchez wages putting off Juve, Inter and Napoli
A string of Italian clubs are reportedly keen on a move for Manchester United outcast Alexis Sanchez, but the Daily Mail claims all interested parties are being put off a move by the Chilean's enormous wages.
The 30-year-old wants to leave Old Trafford after a disastrous 18 months at the club, but a complicated contract that sees him take home around £560,000-a-week is now believed to be a major obstacle for any potential suitors hoping to put an offer on the table.
The likes of Juventus, Inter Milan and Napoli have all been credited with an interest in the former Barcelona and Arsenal forward, but none of the trio are willing to pay a substantial transfer fee, or even offer close to what the player is currently pocketing in wages.
The Red Devils are now faced with the prospect of subsidising Sanchez's salary to help facilitate a deal that would see him leave the club.

22.50 BST: We'll bring Friday's live edition of Transfer Talk to a close with some news from Germany. Despite not featuring much last season, Mickael Cuisance demanded a guarantee of starting for Borussia Monchengladbach this season, and now kicker reports that the 20-year-old midfielder is set to join Bayern Munich -- where playing time presumably will be harder to come by.
22.03 BST: Roma have announced that midfielder Steven Nzonzi has joined Turkish side Galatasaray on a season-long loan, with an option to make the move permanent for €16m.

21.16 BST: Speaking of Bayern, Calciomercato reports that Mario Mandzukic's €5m annual wages have scared off the German giants enough that they have yet to submit an offer for the Juventus forward, despite being keen to add him to their ranks.
20.29 BST: Barcelona midfielder Philippe Coutinho has been ruled out for Friday's La Liga opener against Athletic Bilbao with sources confirming to ESPN FC that the club is in advanced negotiations with Bayern Munich about a loan deal for the Brazil international.
19.42 BST: Goal writes that Chelsea have set the asking price for full-back Davide Zappacosta at €25m, a price that's out of reach of Roma, who are interested in the 27-year-old.
18.55 BST: Amid longstanding interest in their goalkeeper from Paris Saint-Germain, AC Milan are keen to open negotiations with Gianluigi Donnarumma over a new contract to keep him at the San Siro, Calciomercato cites Gazzetta dello Sport as reporting.
18.08 BST: Will Christian Eriksen still be at Tottenham after the close of the European transfer window? Who better to ask than Spurs boss Mauricio Pochettino. "I do not know," he's quoted as saying by the Evening Standard. So that clears that up, then.
17.21 BST: The Independent writes that there is "a strong belief" at Real Madrid that Neymar's preferred destination once he escapes Paris Saint-Germain is the Bernabeu, despite his longstanding relationship with several influential figures in Barcelona's team.
16.34 BST: Marcos Rojo failed to get a move away from Manchester United on Premier League deadline day, but the Daily Express claims he's still hopeful of departing.
Everton came close to sealing Rojo's signature but the deal fell through, leaving the Argentine stranded at Old Trafford. The 29-year-old could still sign for a European club though, until Sept. 2, and is reportedly ready to head abroad for regular football.
15.52 BST: Mauro Icardi wants out of Inter Milan this summer, but neither them or Juve want to be seen to make the first move in a potential Icardi-Paulo Dybala swap deal, says Tuttosport.
Meanwhile, Corriere dello Sport reports that Icardi's lawyer has written to Inter to demand his client be more involved. That's despite him openly wanting to leave the club and having his No. 9 squad number given to new arrival Romelu Lukaku.
15.14 BST: Neymar, Neymar, Neymar ... talks will resume on Monday between Barcelona and PSG over the forward's transfer, says El Chiringuito.
The report says Barca officials will travel to Paris, actually, which begs the question why they haven't just set up camp outside the PSG HQ. Would save a lot of time, effort and travel miles.

13.47 BST: Despite being close to a move to Inter Milan, Bosnian striker Edin Dzeko could stay at Roma with new boss Paulo Fonseca reportedly a fan of his.
Corriere dello Sport reports that Dzeko may not move this summer after all, with the Serie A deadline coming to close on Aug. 23.
13.04 BST: Real Madrid boss Zinedine Zidane has played down expectations they could still sign Paul Pogba or Neymar this summer, and said he is "happy" with the players at his disposal ahead of Saturday's La Liga opener at Celta Vigo.
Although Madrid have spent over €300m on new signings, the Bernabeu hierarchy were unable to meet Zidane's request to bring Pogba from Manchester United, while a late move for Paris Saint-Germain star Neymar has not progressed.
Attempts to move on Gareth Bale and James Rodriguez were also unsuccessful, leading to reports of tension between Zidane and club president Florentino Perez. However the Frenchman was in a relaxed mood when asked about transfer matters at Friday's prematch news conference.
"Paul is a Manchester [United] player and we must respect that," Zidane said. "Neymar is not a Real Madrid player.
"The important thing is the players who are here. I will settle with what I have. I have spoken with the person who has to do things. I have the best players here, no doubt -- I always say that. I am happy with them, thinking just about tomorrow's game."
12.41 BST: Lazio midfielder Sergej Milinkovic-Savic was linked with a €100m move to Manchester United this summer but nothing materialised before the end of the Premier League window. Now the Serbian claims he has no interest in any transfer talk.
"I never said I wanted to leave Lazio, I feel good here," he told Sport Plus. "I never mentioned a possible transfer to Manchester United and it was just paper talk. New commitments await me with Lazio."
12.23 BST: Defender Mert Cetin is set to join Roma, according to Corriere dello Sport.
Cetin, 22, has impressed at Turkish side Genclerbirligi and is reportedly having a medical in Rome.
11.42 BST: According to Tuttosport, Atletico Madrid have had a £55m bid for Napoli's central midfielder Allan rejected.
PSG had been linked with the Brazilian, but it seems Atletico are keen to strengthen their midfield after losing Rodri to Manchester City earlier this summer.
11.23 BST: Liverpool defender Dejan Lovren was reportedly off to Roma. Not so anymore.

11.02 BST: Meanwhile, Ousmane Dembele has turned down chance to join PSG as part of the Neymar deal, according to Mundo Deportivo. So that puts paid to one option.
But as one door closes, another opens. Le Parisien says that Barca have offered up Chile midfielder Arturo Vidal instead.
10.48 BST: It's that time again ... It's Neymar time.
Former Barcelona forward Hristo Stoichkov has told Univision: "Barcelona do not need Neymar. There is no place for him in the starting XI as there are already players of very high quality. Lionel Messi, Antoine Griezmann, Luis Suarez and Ousmane Dembele are there. Where would Neymar play? He would be a bomb in the dressing room -- I do not want him to come back."
"There is pressure on all sides. Surely, there is a group of players that wants to see him return and is demanding an effort from the president. Barca will not put a single Euro into bringing him back, though, as they do not have the money to pay PSG.
"The players Barca are offering PSG shows a lack of respect. First of all, Ivan Rakitic is an excellent worker, a very humble boy, he never lets his guard down and he always defends Barca's interests. Philippe Coutinho cost a lot of money, but he has a lot of football and I defend him. I hope that no Barca player will leave. Then Barca fans will not want Neymar's return."
10.22 BST: AC Milan are looking at Borussia Monchengladbach midfielder Florian Neuhaus -- who has been nicknamed the "German Kaka" -- according to Gazzetta.
Neuhaus, 22, impressed for Germany at the U21 European Championships earlier this summer and is reportedly interested in a move to Serie A.
09.51 BST: Real Madrid's new Japanese starlet Takefusa Kubo is happy to play with Raul Gonzalez's Castilla youth side as he settles into life in Spain, a source has told ESPN FC.
Previously on Barcelona's books, Kubo joined Madrid from FC Tokyo in June, and impressed when given playing time with Zinedine Zidane's senior team during their preseason games in the US.
The 18-year-old has also featured for Castilla in recent weeks, and a source told ESPN FC that "unless obliged to go on loan" by the club hierarchy, he would be content to remain with Raul's side in the third tier until December at least.
There had been reports that Valladolid owner Ronaldo Nazario wanted to take Kubo on loan for 2019-20, however a source at the La Liga club denied they had made any approach to Madrid.
09.31 BST: Former Leicester title-winning midfielder Andy King has joined Rangers.
"I am delighted to be here, I think the size of the club and everything like that and the manager here speaks for itself," he said. "I had a few other options but when a club the size of Rangers come in then it makes the decision really easy."
09.10 BST: Valencia sporting director Mateu Alemany has accused Atletico Madrid of withdrawing their offer to sign Spain international forward Rodrigo Moreno.
On Thursday, sources told ESPN FC that Atletico were about to sign Rodrigo, 28, for €60m, once they completed the sale of Angel Correa to AC Milan for €40m plus add-ons. However the Correa sale did not materialise, with the Argentine's agent telling the Atletico hierarchy that the Milan offer was only €30m, sources have told ESPN FC.
Alemany later told a news conference in Valencia that the previous agreement over Rodrigo with the Rojiblanco outfit had fallen through.
"There is now no offer on the table for Rodrigo," Alemany said. "I understand perfectly the decision to sell Rodrigo by the club's majority shareholder [Peter Lim]. Those who were making an offer, now do not. What seemed like an agreement could not be executed ... I believe due to Atletico Madrid."
08.30 BST: Mathias Pogba says he has not ruled out his younger brother Paul leaving Manchester United to sign for Real Madrid this summer.
The United midfielder declared his intention to seek a "new challenge" and is a target of Real Madrid. However, the club don't want to sell him.
Speaking to Spanish TV show El Chiringuito, Mathias, who plays for Spanish third division side Manchego, said of his brother Paul: "Pogba wants to move. In the team he is now, he can't do everything. If [Zinedine] Zidane doesn't have all the things he wants, it's difficult for him... He is missing my brother. It's not impossible that (Real Madrid president) Florentino (Perez) signs my brother. We can't be certain that Pogba will continue at United. Until September 2 (when the transfer window in Spain ends), anything can happen with Paul. Madrid is in need of Pogba's football as well as the joy (he brings)."
Asked if he thought his brother is worth €200m, Mathias said: "No, €200m, no. But now the world of football is like that. For sure Manchester (United) will ask for a lot but it won't be €200m."

Maguire snubbed City in favour of United
The Mirror claims Harry Maguire turned down a big-money move to Manchester City in favour of a switch to Man United.
Following several meetings with City chiefs, the 26-year-old was reportedly offered a five-year deal worth around £280,000 a week at the Etihad. The contract would have made the former Sheffield United man the highest-paid defender in the world.
Maguire, however, had already made up his mind, and opted for a switch to Old Trafford to play for the club he supported as a boy, in a deal worth £80 million.

The England international signed a six-year contract at the club worth around £190,000 a week, in a move that will see him potentially earn substantially less than he could've done had he opted to join Pep Guardiola's side instead.
Lovren edges closer to Roma move
Calciomercato reports Liverpool defender Dejan Lovren is closing in on a move to Serie A side Roma.
The Croatia international has started the season out of the Reds' side, with manager Jurgen Klopp favouring both Joe Gomez and Joel Matip for the second central defensive slot alongside Virgil van Dijk, and that has helped cement his decision to look elsewhere for regular playing time.
The Italian outlet claims an agreement will be reached in a matter of days, with Roma bosses hoping to clinch a deal worth around €25m.
The Giallorossi were previously interested in signing Juventus' Daniele Rugani as they look to revamp their back line following a disappointing campaign last time out, but with a deal looking dead in the water, the Romans soon switched their attention to World Cup runner-up Lovren. The former Lyon man is expected to sign in time for the start of Roma's Serie A season on Aug. 25.
