13.41 BST: Juan Miranda and Oriol Busquets have both been left of the Barcelona B squad for Sunday's curtain-raiser against Badalona as they finalise loan moves away from the club.
Left-back Miranda, who was Jordi Alba's only understudy before the signing of Junior Firpo, is set to join Schalke 04 on a two-year loan deal. Sources close to the deal have told ESPN FC the German side will not have an option to buy at the end of the loan.
Miranda, 19, made four appearances for Ernesto Valverde's first-team last season and the Catalan club were keen to send him out on loan this year in order to play regular football at a high level. He's outgrown the B team, who play in the third tier of Spanish football.
Busquets, meanwhile, is close to joining Dutch side FC Twente on a season-long loan. The 20-year-old midfielder made his full debut for Barca in 2017 but a long-term injury halted his progress at the club last season.
12.52 BST: Juventus sporting director Fabio Paratici has played down speculation the club could sign Inter Milan striker Mauro Icardi.
"It is difficult to improve our squad, but we believe we have succeeded in this transfer window," Paratici told Sky Sport Italia. "We've strengthened in the positions that we needed to.
"In attack, Gonzalo Higuain has returned, a great striker. And let's not forget that we have Cristiano Ronaldo.
"We are very happy with the strikers we have. We have an international-level striker, we have players where, if you count the goals they have scored in their careers, the figures are really impressive. I think this is more than enough."

10.50 BST: Former Atletico Madrid left-back Filipe Luis says he had offers on the table from Manchester City, PSG and Dortmund among others, before he moved to Flamengo this summer.
"From January until March I had an offer from Manchester City, but it didn't work out," the 34-year-old told Globo Esporte. "There was a call from Juninho Pernambucano to go to Lyon, but I said I could only give an answer after the Copa America and they ended up signing someone else...
"I had a contract with Atletico and an absurd offer came in [from PSG], one that I couldn't refuse ... But they said no, it was impossible for me to leave because they would have to sign another left-back and there wasn't enough time for that ...
"In the end I had three or four proposals to consider, and then you have to choose. But I see that one club calls me, then the director of another one... it's a long list. Butland, 26, was dropped by Stoke for the 3-0 defeat to Leeds after a poor performance against Preston in midweek. Aston Villa, Bournemouth and Crystal Palace were all interested in the goalkeeper over the summer but a January move to Norwich could be in the offing for around £15m.
Though the club's No. 1 Tim Krul has made a stellar start to the season already.

Man United to move for Maddison
Manchester United are plotting another raid on Leicester City following the £80m signing of Harry Maguire, with the Red Devils reportedly interested in James Maddison, according to the Mirror.
Reports claim United will make initial enquiries for the 22-year-old midfielder in January, although it is unlikely that Leicester will enter serious negotiations until the summer, with their asking price similar to that received for Maguire.
Any move is likely to represent a big profit on Maddison, who only signed for Brendan Rodgers' side a year ago in a deal worth £20m from Norwich City.
Maddison's value is set to rise further in the next few weeks, with Gareth Southgate reportedly set to name the playmaker in his next England squad for Euro 2020 qualifiers against Bulgaria and Kosovo.
Napoli set to beat competition to Llorente capture
Napoli are set to beat Serie A rivals Fiorentina and Premier League giants Manchester United to the signing of free agent Fernando Llorente, reports Calciomercato.
The Spaniard has been available on a free transfer since his contract expired at Tottenham Hotspur at the end of last season, and the past few days have seen him heavily linked with a move to Old Trafford.
However, it is now believed that Llorente is edging closer to a move to Carlo Ancelotti's Napoli -- who completed the signing of PSV winger Hirving Lozano on Friday.
Llorente, 34, has previous Serie A experience thanks to a successful two-year spell at Juventus, where he won two league titles and scored 23 times in 66 domestic appearances.
