LIVE Transfer Talk: Man United step up Sancho chase as Lingard heads for exit door

The coronavirus pandemic has made the summer transfer window uncertain, but here are the rumours floating around Europe's big leagues and beyond.

TOP STORY: Man United step up Sancho chase amid Lingard exit plan

Manchester United are close to reaching an agreement with Borussia Dortmund for Jadon Sancho, according to The Sun.

Sancho is said to be worth in the region of £100 million, and while United's trio of Marcus Rashford, Anthony Martial, and Mason Greenwood are on top form right now, United are seemingly ready to spend big.

The 20-year-old Sancho has recorded a total of 20 goals and 18 assists in all competitions this season, and is now ready for a Premier League move, having initially left Manchester City in 2017.

It is also suggested in the report that Jesse Lingard could be on his way out of the club, with Internazionale and AC Milan interested, while Inter are also looking for a way to extend Alexis Sanchez's loan deal.

17.42 BST: Torino striker Andrea Belotti always finds his name in the pages of Transfer Talk, and this summer is no different. The 26-year-old is being linked with both Internazionale and Manchester United by Tuttosport. He has a €100m release clause for foreign bidders, but it seems unlikely that would be activated. Fiorentina had a €40m offer turned down in January, but the Italy international may look for a new challenge with Torino struggling at the wrong end of the table this season.

Mario Balotelli's time at Brescia came to an inauspicious end after he was ostracised for failing to turn up to training during the coronavirus shutdown. But could he be about to ply his trade in the lower reaches of Italian football? Sky Sport Italia claims that Como, who finished midtable in Serie C but have lofty ambitions, have offered the 29-year-old a deal.

"Spanish and Italian," he said when asked which leagues he liked. "You'll see where I go in time."

Milan's failure to qualify for the Champions League next season wouldn't put him off either.

He added: "I want to win the Champions League. What I haven't said is that I want to win the Champions League with my current or next contract, but in my lifetime."

16.11 BST: Ben White has been outstanding in the Leeds United defence that this weekend earned promotion back to the Premier League as Championship champions. But he has been on loan at Leeds from Brighton & Hove Albion. Seagulls boss Graham Potter has insisted the player won't be heading to West Yorkshire permanently and will be part of his first-team plans.

"He's contracted with us and he's on loan at Leeds. He's our player," Potter said. "It's fantastic he's had this year with Leeds. I think everybody won. Ben got some great experience; Leeds achieved their goal of promotion.

"But we rate him highly. We like him a lot. He's a really good player and thankfully he's our player. [Next season] he'll be competing for a place like everyone else."

15.34 BST: FC Salzburg have agreed the signing of Oumar Solet for €4.5m, with a further €4m in add-ons and a 15% sell-on clause. The 20-year-old joined Lyon from Laval two years ago but failed to make an impact on the first team. The deal will go through on July 26.

14.42 BST: Zlatan Ibrahimovic has suggested he could sign a new contract with AC Milan. The former Sweden international made his 100th appearance for the club during the week, but it was expected the 38-year-old would depart once the season has finally finished.

"It's a great honour to play 100 games for Milan. I hope to play lots more," he said. "Thank you, guys. It's all thanks to you that I have no competition, otherwise I wouldn't be playing!"

13.59 BST: Sheffield United have bolstered their goalkeeping ranks with the addition of Wes Foderingham on a free transfer from Rangers. The goalkeeper's contract had expired at Ibrox. Foderingham comes in as back-up, but the Blades may need to find a new No. 1 with Dean Henderson due to return to Manchester United at the end of the season when his loan runs out.

13.14 BST: Barcelona have completed a deal for Rayo Vallecano teenager Fabian Luzzi. The striker has put pen to paper on a three-year contract with Barca, who have the option to extend by a further two seasons. The 16-year-old will initially play for Patrick Kluivert's Juvenil A team.

12.29 BST: Villarreal have released a video ahead of their final game of the season which would seem to confirm that Santi Cazorla will be leaving the club when his contract ends on Sunday. It's a celebration of the player's two seasons at the club, during which he scored 15 goals in 68 La Liga appearances. The 35-year-old is tipped to join Al Sadd of Qatar, who are managed by Xavi Hernandez. The club also pay tribute to another player who is set to depart, Bruno Soriano

11.43 BST: Tottenham Hotspur are on the verge of completing a move for Wigan Athletic midfielder Alfie Devine. The 15-year-old, who started his career at Liverpool, is an England youth international and came to Spurs' attention when he starred in a 2-0 win for Wigan in an FA Youth Cup tie against them. The Daily Mail says that talks are back on after an initial offer of £500,000 was turned down. 10.22 BST: Norwich City midfielder Todd Cantwell is going to be a man in demand this summer following the club's relegation from the Premier League. The Daily Mail reports that Leicester City and Newcastle United are at the head of the queue -- though Manchester City could even make a move. Manchester United, Tottenham Hotspur and Bayern Munich are also named as admirers of the 22-year-old who scored six goals for the bottom-of-the-table side.

09.30 BST: Interesting is hotting up in Southampton midfielder Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg, who will be sold this summer after turning down a contract extension. The 24-year-old Denmark international is being tracked by a number of Premier League clubs, with Everton first to move last week but seeing their bid turned down.

Now the Evening Standard reports Hojbjerg, who was stripped of the captaincy at St Mary's, is on the radar of Tottenham Hotspur. But they will need to find £35m to land the player.
