TOP STORY: Real Madrid add Kane to shortlist
Real Madrid have identified Tottenham Hotspur striker Harry Kane as a summer transfer target, as an alternative to Erling Haaland and Kylian Mbappe, reports SER Deportivo.
Madrid are keen to land a marquee striker this summer and, while Dortmund's Haaland and PSG's Mbappe both remain big targets for Zinedine Zidane, the Los Blancos hierarchy believe Kane may be an easier deal to get over the line, says the report.
Kane has scored 27 goals in all competitions this season and has also provided 16 assists and, with Spurs underperforming, many believe this could be the summer the 27-year-old finally decides to move on from north London in the pursuit of silverware.
The England international has reiterated his desire to stay at Spurs, but his loyalty could be tested if the club fails to win the Carabao Cup after having recently been dumped out of the Europa League. Spurs also face the prospect of finishing outside of the top four in the Premier League.
Haaland and Mbappe are both expected to require fees in excess of £100 million, so Kane may well shift from third in Real's pecking order to first if deals for the other two prove too steep.
Spurs fans will be desperate their side beats Manchester City in the Carabao Cup final on April 25 (stream live on ESPN+ in the U.S.), not only to lift some silverware, but also to prevent their talismanic striker from considering his future elsewhere.

21.45 GMT: Gazzetta dello Sport reports that Lazio not only need to bolster their defence, they need to upgrade the attack, too. At the top of the Roman club's wish list sits 25-year-old River Plate striker Rafael Santos Borre, as well as 22-year-old Ianis Hagi of Rangers.
20.48 GMT: Lazio will look to bolster their defence this summer, according to Corriere dello Sport, and there are two Argentina youth internationals the club believe could do just that: 23-year-old centre-back Lisandro Martinez of Ajax Amsterdam and Feyenoord's Marcos Senesi, also 23.
19.51 GMT: As Bologna prepare for life after Riccardo Orsolini, as AC Milan eye up the 24-year-old right winger, the Evening Standard quotes Bologna sporting director Walter Sabatini as saying that 29-year-old Tottenham Hotspur playmaker Erik Lamela (who has less than 18 months remaining on his contract in north London) could be the perfect replacement:
"Lamela is one of the names we are looking into. We are trying to understand if there are possibilities to get there and there is no guarantee. Of course, should Orsolini leave, there would be no better substitute. We will see."
18.54 GMT: Arturo Vidal has completed a full 90 minutes in Serie A just twice this season, and with the 33-year-old picking up a hefty pay packet, Internazionale could be prepared to move on from the Chile international this summer, with Gazzetta dello Sport reporting that Marseille and Galatasaray have registered their interest in the midfielder in recent days.
17.57 GMT: Corriere dello Sport reports that "problems of coexistence" between the AS Roma hierarchy and 35-year-old striker Edin Dzeko could leave the Italian capital club looking for alternatives to lead their line, with former Internazionale captain and 28-year-old Paris Saint-Germain No. 9 Mauro Icardi high on their list. Closer to home, the Giallorossi are also monitoring 27-year-old Andrea Belotti of Torino and Fiorentina's 21-year-old Dusan Vlahovic.

15.51 GMT: Juventus vice-chairman Pavel Nedved has insisted that Cristiano Ronaldo won't be leaving the club.
Ronaldo, 36, has scored 30 goals in 34 games for Juve this season but the club have struggled and he has been linked with a return to Real Madrid.
"For me, Ronaldo can't be touched," Nedved told DAZN. "He has a contract until June 30, 2022 and will stay. What happens after that remains to be seen.
"Cristiano, both technically and in terms of image, pushed us towards the peak of football. On a technical level, you can't fault him. He's scored more than 100 goals in 120 games and he dragged us into the Champions League.
"We can criticise him -- we all have to be open to criticism when we make a mistake -- but to question his numbers and what he gives us in every game, for me, isn't fair. He's a simple guy, even if it doesn't seem like that from the outside.
"Kids will study his physique and his career. He's the prototype of the modern player who, with immense talent and a lot of work, has achieved incredible goals."
15.31 GMT: Barcelona forward Francisco Trincao is the subject of interest from Leicester City, says El Confidencial.
Trincao, 21, arrived from Braga in the summer for around €31m but manager Ronald Koeman has changed his system and now the Portugal winger doesn't fit in.
Leicester were keen on Trincao last summer but signed Cengiz Under on loan from Roma instead.
14.47 GMT: Mundo Deportivo claims that Arsenal are interested in Real Betis right-back Emerson, who is available for around €25m.
Emerson, 22, has impressed in La Liga and could be the long-term replacement for Hector Bellerin.
Sources have told ESPN that Bellerin could leave Arsenal this summer as part of an agreement with manager Mikel Arteta. The 25-year-old wanted to quit the Gunners at the end of last season when Paris Saint-Germain and Barcelona emerged as serious options, but stayed following heart-to-heart talks with Arteta, whom he has a close relationship with from their playing days at the club.
ESPN can reveal that in discussions last year, Arteta asked Bellerin to give the club one more season and in return, they would consider an exit this summer.
14.25 GMT: The great-grandson of Italian fascist dictator Benito Mussolini has signed his first professional contract with Serie A team Lazio.
Romano Floriani Mussolini, 18, was called up to the Roman club's U19 team in February and has featured in four of their last five matches, earning a three-year deal.
The teenager, son of Alessandra Mussolini, a former member of the European parliament for the Forza Italia party, posted a picture of himself signing a contract on his Instagram page, where he goes by the name Romano Floriani.

Germany: Youssoufa Moukoko, FW
Already a record breaker at youth level (he's scored for fun in every age group since he arrived in Germany from Cameroon in 2014), the Dortmund forward became the youngest ever player to make his debut -- and later score -- in the Bundesliga within the space of a few weeks towards the end of last year. Supremely talented and well-rounded for a 16-year-old, as well as being an excellent finisher with a powerful shot, he's intelligent off the ball, takes up smart positions and can even set up his teammates. Quick, sharp and excellent one-on-one, he is a potential world beater and the only real top prospect in a somewhat low-key Germany squad.
France: Eduardo Camavinga, MID
Two years and 60 games on from his Ligue 1 debut, the Rennes midfielder is one of the most promising teenagers in world football. Initially fielded as a holding player, Camavinga has also occasionally featured in the No. 8 role this season. Left-footed, excellent on the ball and with a game intelligence well beyond his years, the 18-year-old marked his second (of three) full caps by getting on the scoresheet against Ukraine last October. A delightfully agile player, able to dictate and influence the rhythm of the game.
Iceland: Isak Bergmann Johannesson, MID
The Icelandic prodigy opted to stay with IFK Norrkoping to play first-team football instead of joining an academy elsewhere in Europe (pick a top club in the Champions League and chances are they've offered him a contract.) Now, following a successful full season in the Allsvenskan, it's unlikely that he'll hang around in Sweden for much longer. He plays the game with an ease uncommon for a teenager -- whether fielded as a box-to-box midfielder or a winger (or any other position for that matter), he's never in a hurry and his off-the-ball movement is exceptional. A remarkably complete player for his age -- not dissimilar to a teenage Kevin De Bruyne.

Asked if he would recommend for former teammate Sergio Ramos to leave Real Madrid this summer, he said: "I think if with his age and his experience, if I had to advise him, he would have a problem. He is the captain of Real Madrid and of the national team. He is always looking after everyone and giving us advice. I can only wish him the best and to continue to score goals for Real Madrid."
And asked if he and Cristiano Ronaldo are completely happy at Juventus, he replied: "We could be happier. It has been a difficult season and because of small details, we have lost the majority of our aims or are complicated. It's difficult for me and for Cristiano, when you are accustomed to fighting for titles. But the season is not over."
12.27 GMT: Inter Miami star Rodolfo Pizarro has told ESPN Deportes that being in MLS gives him better chance of fulfilling his dream of playing in Europe.
The reason? Because MLS clubs do not demand inflated prices when they look to move a player on.
"I think the MLS gives you more facilities because maybe they allow you to have a more reasonable price to leave," the 27-year-old midfielder said. "[Going to Europe] from Liga MX is very difficult because they put [high] prices and in Europe they prefer to sign three Argentine players or three from Brazil and MLS is more watched than the Mexican league, especially by Americans who play in Europe."
11.41 GMT: Palmeiras have confirmed the signing of midfielder Danilo Barbosa from Nice.
Flamengo had also been linked with the 25-year-old but he has finally opted to join the Brazilian club on loan until December 2021 -- with a purchase option included as part of the deal.
11.25 GMT: Argentinian midfielder Martin Benitez will continue his career at Sao Paulo after Hernan Crespo's new side reached an agreement with Vasco and Independiente.
"In common agreement between all parties, including Independiente (ARG), the club that holds its federative rights, the player will leave Sao Januario bound for Sao Paulo," Vasco confirmed on their official website.
According to ESPN Brasil, Sao Paulo will pay around $300,000 to Independiente to take Benitez on loan until December but will have the option of a permanent deal for around $3.2m.

10.32 GMT: Tigres star Andre-Pierre Gignac has revealed that he turned down offers from Liverpool and Valencia when he was playing at Toulouse in 2010 to fulfil his dream of playing for Marseille.
"I was born in Martigues, 40 kilometres away from Marseille. I was a Marseille fan all my childhood. My family, they were all OM fans. It was my dream although you have to know that I had two contracts in my hands. It was Marseille or Liverpool in 2010," the French striker told RMC.
"Before signing for OM, I rejected Valencia and Liverpool. Valencia tried to convince me by sending me a plane with good ham. They made you want to go with a good Iberico ham but finally I refused. Then my agent Jean-Christophe Cano came and told me: 'Andre, you have Liverpool or Marseille.' I replied: 'You can break Liverpool's contract. We're going to Marseille.'"
09.48 GMT: Martin Odegaard has spoken to Norwegian newspaper VG about his future while on international duty with Norway in Marbella.
Odegaard, 22, has a contract with Real Madrid until June 2023 but has scored two goals in 12 appearances on loan at Arsenal and is reported to be keen to make it a permanent deal in the summer.
"I have not thought about what will happen this summer," he said. "My contract with Arsenal lasts this season. We'll see what happens this summer. But I have said things before that I still stand for: Stability and development are key words."
He also added about his experience at Arsenal, as reported in Europa Press: "I think it has been good since the start. I adapted very well to the style of play. At the beginning I felt a certain lack of confidence, but I feel that as the days go by, I'm getting stronger."
09.23 GMT: Liverpool midfielder Georginio Wijnaldum has denied he has reached an agreement to sign for Barcelona next season.
Wijnaldum, 30, has not signed a contract extension with Liverpool and becomes a free agent this summer. According to The Times, the experienced midfielder has signed a preliminary agreement with Barca and will become the club's first summer signing.
Currently on international duty with the Netherlands, Wijnaldum said, as reported in Cope: "There is always going to be talks about this [market] and about my future, but as I've said in the past, I have no news yet."
08.48 GMT: Gareth Bale has said he intends to return to Real Madrid once his loan spell at Tottenham Hotspur expires this summer.
The Wales captain re-joined Spurs on a season-long loan in September in search of regular playing time, having moved from the north London side to the Bernabeu for then world-record £85m fee in 2013.
"It's [future] no distraction for me coming into the Euros," Bale told a news conference on Tuesday ahead of Wales' opening 2022 World Cup qualifier in Belgium.
"I think the main reason I came to Spurs this year was to play football first and foremost but going into the Euros, I want to be match-fit.
"The original plan was to do a season at Spurs and after the Euros still have a year left at Real Madrid. My plan is to go back and that's as far I've planned to be honest."
08.00 GMT: RB Leipzig's squad could be overhauled in the summer, says Sport Bild. Indeed Marcel Sabitzer, Marcel Halstenberg, Willi Orban and Emil Forsberg are set to enter the final years of their contract and could all leave.
The German club are also bracing for offers for Dani Olmo, Christopher Nkunku and Nordi Mukiele, while goalkeeper Peter Gulasci, Ibrahima Konate and Angelino have release clauses -- the latter only for his former club Manchester City.
Having already signed defenders Josko Gvardiol and Mohamed Simakan to replace Bayern-bound Dayot Upamecano, as well as Ajax attacker Brian Brobbey who will arrive on a free transfer, Leipzig are also reportedly interested in Groningen left-back Gabriel Gudmundsson and Stuttgart attacker Sasa Kalajdzic, who has been linked with Juventus.

- Inter Milan boss Antonio Conte is keen to reignite his interest in Udinese midfielder Rodrigo De Paul, according to Calciomercato. Conte tried to sign De Paul in January, but had to pull out as a result of Christian Eriksen staying at the San Siro. De Paul's versatility makes him a perfect signing for Conte, and the 26-year-old is keen to play Champions League football. De Paul is contracted until 2024, and would cost Inter €35m to sign.
- Manchester United are considering a move for goalkeeper Hugo Lloris this summer, according to L'Equipe, with Manchester United considering replacing David de Gea with the Tottenham skipper, who has been linked with a move away from north London at the end of the season.
- Manchester City are close to signing Fluminense wonderkid Kayky, according to the Sun. City have been locked in talks with the 17-year-old forward's representatives and it is believed the player who has drawn comparisons in style to Neymar is close to signing a deal worth £21.5m.
- Lucas Vazquez is out of contract at Real Madrid this summer, and Bayern Munich are the latest club to hold talks with the versatile winger, says Spain outlet AS. Vasquez, 29, has been waiting for Madrid to offer an improved deal which hasn't been forthcoming, and talks with Bayern are said to be positive, yet far from a final agreement.
- With Real Madrid midfielder Isco out of favour at the Bernabeu, Inter manager Conte is reportedly keen to take him to the Italian capital. The 28-year-old is out of contract in 2022 and Madrid may be willing to do business this summer to avoid him leaving on a free 12 months later, according to Sport. A renewal seems out of the question, but Inter may face difficulties because they still owe Madrid some cash for right-back Achraf Hakimi.
