TOP STORY: Barcelona could swap De Jong for Silva
Barcelona want to sign Manchester City midfielder Bernardo Silva, reports Mundo Deportivo.
The 27-year-old was linked with the Blaugrana last summer, and it now looks as though they are preparing to make another bid to sign him.

The report says that coach Xavi Hernandez is eager to increase competition and level of the squad ahead of next season. It is felt that too much is expected of the 19-year-old Pedri and Barca need a more experienced midfielder to take some of the load.
However, a deal for Silva would be complicated and expensive. The player still has three years remaining on his City contract, and Pep Guardiola will be eager to get full transfer value.
It is reported that a player exchange involving Frenkie de Jong could be proposed. City may lose Fernandinho in the summer, and will need another player in central midfield. De Jong, 24, could be the perfect solution if Silva makes it clear he wants to play in LaLiga.

21:01 BST: According to Fabrizo Romano, Nicolás Tagliafico is expected to leave Ajax in the summer, despite public statements to the contrary.
His contract reportedly runs until June 2023 but the expectation is there will be a change with three unnamed clubs expressing interest, per Romano.
19.28 BST: It appears Dani Alves' future is uncertain, according to AS. The Barcelona star had renewed with Barcelona in the winter as a free agent when the LaLiga powerhouse had few options at right-back.
Now, the 39-year-old may no longer figure into Barcelona's plans as the club has not triggered the option in his contract. The fact that he was left out of Barcelona's Europa League squad only adds to the doubt surrounding his future with the team.
18.38 BST: Leicester City is bracing itself to see a slew of playing exit this summer, including Youri Tielemans, James Maddison and Harvey Barnes, according to the Daily Mail. Rumor has it Tielemans is not expected to sign a renewal while Maddison and Barnes are expected to draw interest elsewhere.
Manager Brendan Rodgers has said the club will need new signings to compete next season, especially in light of increasing likelihood Leicester will miss out on European football next term. He is reportedly interested in a center-back, a creative central midfielder and a wide forward.
17.19 BST: Paris Saint-Germain and Argentina midfielder Leandro Paredes has admitted that he "dreams" of playing for Real Madrid.

Paredes, 27, who joined PSG from Zenit Saint-Petersburg in 2019, is currently out of action with a groin injury.
He has made just 15 appaerances in Ligue 1 this season but started both legs of PSG's Champions League round of 16 tie with Madrid.
"I'd like to play for Real Madrid," he told Argentina's TyC Sports. "Every player dreams about wearing that shirt. It's a very important club, but I have a lot of respect for PSG and I'm more than happy here."
16.30 BST: Could Gareth Bale really be playing in the Championship for Cardiff City next season?
Bale will celebrate his 33rd birthday in July, shortly after his lucrative contract at Real Madrid expires. There have been rumours that Bale could retire -- but if Wales win their World Cup playoff against Scotland or Ukraine in June he would continue playing.
That has led to speculation that he could sign a short-term deal with his hometown club, Cardiff, to make sure he is in prime condition for the finals, which begin in November.
"Is there anyone who wouldn't be a willing listener?!" Cardiff manager Steve Morison said when asked about the possibility of signing the winger. "I'm not going to go and get Gareth Bale's number and ring him and say, 'Oh, by the way, do you want to come and join Cardiff?'
"It's an absolute no-brainer. It would be great. It would be a great boost for everybody. But if it did happen, he would have to come and be part of the change. He would have to come and fit in and buy into it.
"I'm sure if anything like that was going to happen then me and him would have a chat because there would be a lot to talk about. One of them would be making sure [the press] don't find out about it!"
15.42 BST: The Daily Mail reports that Ruben Neves would prefer to stay in the Premier League if he leaves Wolves this summer.
The 25-year-old midfielder, who has a transfer value of around £70m, could move on at the end of the season and Wolves will use the funds to reshape their squad.
Arsenal, Barcelona, Juventus and Manchester United have all been linked with the Portugal international, who has two years remaining on his contract.
15.00 BST: Could James Rodriguez be headed for MLS very soon? The Sun reports that he is set to leave Qatari club Al-Rayyan and sign for Inter Miami.
The former Real Madrid star, who quit Everton last year to move to Al-Rayyan, could move to Miami when the MLS transfer window reopens on July 7.
But the deal wouldn't come cheap, with the 30-year-old on £6.5m a season in Qatar. He would have to become the Florida club's highest-paid plater.
14.14 BST: Kylian Mbappe's representatives will travel to Madrid next week for negotiations with Real Madrid, France's RMC Sport reported on Friday.
A day earlier, French newspaper Le Parisien had claimed that talks between Mbappe and current club Paris Saint-Germain over a contract extension were on track, and that a preliminary agreement had been reached on the terms of a new deal.
Speculation over where the star forward will be playing next season has continued to grow ever since Madrid failed with a late bid to sign their long-term top transfer target last summer, with his current PSG deal due to expire on June 30.
Mbappe, who has scored 24 league goals for PSG this season to fire them to the Ligue 1 title, insisted last month that he had not yet made a decision on his future.
13.28 BST: Manchester United interim manager Ralf Rangnick said that his request for a striker at the end of the January transfer window was turned down by the club despite the Old Trafford side losing Anthony Martial and Mason Greenwood during that period.
"The answer at the time was there was no player on the market that could really help us -- there were a few," Rangnick told reporters ahead of Saturday's league trip to Brighton.
"Diaz, who is now at Liverpool, Alvarez who will be at Manchester City in the summer, Vlahovic who at the time still was with Fiorentina. Those are just three of them that come across my mind now.
"I spoke to the board and said shouldn't we at least speak and try and analyse if we could get a player either on loan or as a permanent deal, but in the end the answer was no."
12.42 BST: Fulham manager Marco Silva has admitted that forward Fabio Carvalho will not be at the club next season amid strong rumours a deal has been agreed with Liverpool.
Jurgen Klopp tried to sign the 19-year-old on deadline day of the winter window but the two clubs couldn't push the deal through in time.
Although the Portugal under-21 international is out of contract in June, he is not available on a free transfer due to his age. The two clubs have reportedly agreed a compensation package worth up to £7m and the player will switch to Anfield on July 1.
"You know how I love the boy, I don't need to repeat again," Silva said. "I would love to have him with me more time as well at this football club, but it's what you can do and it's difficult sometimes for us to accept, that is football and that's life.
"I don't have news about it. You ask me if I would like to keep him here, I'm 100% sure. But we will see if it would not be possible. About next season, he will not be our football player. It's difficult for me, I can't speak about the situation."
12.00 BST: Chelsea have identified Torino centre-back Gleison Bremer as a possible replacement for Antonio Rudiger, reports Football London.
Rudiger, 29, is expected to join Real Madrid on a free transfer when his contract expires in the summer.
And coach Thomas Tuchel could look to Serie A to revamp his defence, with the 25-year-old Bremer on his shortlist. Scouts have watched the Brazilian throughout the season.
11.11 BST: Manchester City are weighing up a move for Paul Pogba when his contract at Manchester United expires in the summer, sources have told ESPN's Rob Dawson.
Pogba will be available on a free transfer at the end of the season and although Paris Saint-Germain and Juventus are leading the chase for his signature, sources close to City are not ruling out making an offer themselves.
Sources have told ESPN that Pogba would be open to joining City, who believe the World Cup winner is a viable option because of his contract situation at Old Trafford.
Pogba would likely become one of the highest paid players at the Etihad but the overall cost of the deal would be made more manageable without a sizeable transfer fee added on top.
Pablo Zabaleta feels Kylian Mbappe's pace would still be a vital addition to Real Madrid's title-winning squad.
10.24 BST: Chelsea are frustrated that restrictions arising from the sanctions against owner Roman Abramovich halted their pursuit of Erling Haaland from Borussia Dortmund, sources told ESPN.
The Blues are unable to sign players as per the special licence granted to continue fulfilling fixtures following Abramovich's identification as a key figure with ties to Russia President Vladimir Putin amid the ongoing war in Ukraine.
On Friday, a consortium led by Los Angeles Dodgers part-owner Todd Boehly and backed by Clearlake Capital has won the bid to acquire Premier League club Chelsea.
There is a strong expectation that Manchester City will land the Norway striker, largely because they have been laying the foundations of a deal for several weeks. But City will not break their wage structure to land Haaland, sources told ESPN. The framework of the deal -- including agent fees -- is already in place and City have until June to formally trigger the €75m release clause in Haaland's contract at Borussia Dortmund.
09.41 BST: The Daily Telegraph reports that new Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag wants Cristiano Ronaldo to stay at the club.
Ronaldo, 37, has one year remaining on his contract at Old Trafford but there had been doubts about his future.
Despite United suffering a poor season, Ronaldo has still scored 24 goals in 37 appearances.
The report says that Ten Hag sees Ronaldo as a key player next season as he begins a massive overhaul of the squad.
09.00 BST: Antonio Conte has warned Tottenham Hotspur need to spend big this summer or pray for a "miracle" to catch Liverpool.
Spurs travel to Anfield on Saturday aiming to boost their hopes of Champions League qualification by securing a result against Premier League title-chasing Liverpool, who have not lost at home to Tottenham since May 2011.
Asked if he could see comparisons with Liverpool, who took four seasons under Klopp to win the Champions League and five to win the Premier League, finishing eighth in his first season in charge, Conte said: "I don't know but if I was sure this type of situation can happen, I sign, you understand?
"To reduce this gap, you need to spend a lot of money because you need to buy important players. You have to know this otherwise you cannot reduce this gap and hope always for a miracle.
"It is not simple because you have a master in front of you, you need time, you need a big investment because you have to spend a lot of money if you want to be competitive and try to reduce this gap otherwise you have to accept to stay in the middle and finish."

- Luis Suarez is prepared to take a pay-cut to re-join Barcelona, writes Ekrem Konur. The 35-year-old striker will be out of contract at Atletico Madrid at the end of June, and he is already looking to set up a return to Camp Nou. Recent reports have suggested that the Uruguay star wants to continue his career at the top level ahead of the World Cup later this year. He has scored 11 goals from 32 LaLiga appearances this season.
- AS Roma manager Jose Mourinho is weighing up a move for Bodo/Glimt forward Ola Solbakken, according to Sport. The Serie A club are preparing a list of replacements should Carles Perez leave in the summer, and it looks as though I Giallorossi have identified the 23-year-old Norway international as an option. Salbakken impressed during his Europa Conference League appearances against Roma this season.
- AS Monaco won't accept less than €70m for Aurelien Tchouameni, writes Fabrizio Romano. The highly sought-after 22-year-old midfielder scored twice on Friday evening as Monaco secured a 2-1 victory against Lille in Ligue 1. It was reported recently that he was prioritising a move to Real Madrid, but there is expected to be a number of suitors for his signature once the transfer window officially opens.
- Club America star Richard Sanchez has been offered to Lille and Monaco, reveals Foot Mercato. The 26-year-old midfielder could be of interest to both clubs, who are expected to lose key players in the summer in Renato Sanches and the aforementioned Tchouameni, respectively. The Paraguay international is known for his set-piece delivery, and has made 95 appearances for the Liga MX club.
