TOP STORY: Dortmund's Moukoko to Barcelona?
Barcelona see Borussia Dortmund striker Youssoufa Moukoko as the eventual replacement for Robert Lewandowski but face competition to sign him, as has been reported by Diario Sport.
Barcelona have already made efforts to put themselves in a position to sign the 17-year-old Moukoko, but the likes of Juventus, Real Madrid and Liverpool are also interested.
Lewandowski only signed for the Blaugrana for €45 million from Bayern Munich in the summer, but the club are already thinking about what they will do when the 34-year-old's contract ends in 2026.
Moukoko has captured the attention of scouts, having impressed for Dortmund with his six goals and four assists in 12 Bundesliga appearances this term. This is the striker's second season as a professional, but he is already used to filling big shoes, as Erling Haaland's €60m summer departure to Manchester City has played a part in him getting more minutes this season.
Aside from his impressive performances on the pitch, a factor that will have various big-name clubs looking at Moukoko is that his contract is set to end in 2023.

22.32 GMT: As announced on FC Cincinnati's official channels, the MLS club has signed 15-year-old Stiven Jimenez to a Homegrown Player contract.
The midfielder becomes Cincinnati's youngest-ever signed player after agreeing to a deal that keeps him with them until 2025, with the club holding an option for 2026 and 2027.
22.06 GMT: On the same day that Marcos Alonso spoke to Diario Sport about how much he has always wanted to play for Barcelona, Ekrem Konur has reported that the Blaugrana want to extend the left-back's contract. The Spaniard joined Barca on a one-year deal in the summer but now seems set to stay past that.
21.19 GMT: Wolverhampton Wanderers could pay Anderlecht to bring Fabio Silva back from his season-long loan in January, reports The Athletic.
There is no agreement for an early termination of the loan, which means Wolves are weighing up whether bringing back the striker would provide better value than signing another on loan or permanently, while also taking the fitness and impact of Raul Jimenez and Diego Costa into account. However, the key factor will still be whether Julen Lopetegui wants Silva to return.
20.41 GMT: Nottingham Forest, Tottenham Hotspur, West Ham United and Olympique de Marseille have all made contact with Atalanta about a possible January move for Ruslan Malinovskyi, according to Calciomercato.
The Ukraine international has fallen behind Ademola Lookman and Mario Pasalic in the pecking order, but Atalanta still want at least €30m for him while the move would also need to satisfy the attacking midfielder.
19.47 GMT: After Southampton parted company with Ralph Hasenuhuttl, as covered earlier in our blog, Luton Town have announced that they have given the Saints permission to speak to Nathan Jones about their managerial vacancy following the Hatters' match against Stoke City. This comes after the Premier League side made an approach to Luton, with the situation between the two clubs said to be "extremely amicable."
19.09 GMT: Eintracht Frankfurt's Evan Ndicka and Atletico de Madrid's Jose Maria Gimenez are Roma's priorities as they search for a centre-back to sign in January, reports Calciomercato.
Roger Ibanez's mistake in the 1-0 derby day defeat to Lazio has resulted in Jose Mourinho pushing harder for a defensive reinforcement to be made in the winter.
18.29 GMT: Speaking to Sky Sports Deutschland, RB Leipzig commercial director for sport Florian Scholz has denied that the Bundesliga side has an agreement for Christopher Nkunku to join Chelsea, even though the Blues are interested in the Frenchman.
When asked whether he could deny the reports, Scholz answered with a straightforward "yes."
17.55 GMT: Tottenham Hotspur's interest in Everton winger Anthony Gordon was covered earlier in our blog, and journalist Ekrem Konur has now suggested that Arsenal are keen on him as well when the window opens in January.
The 21-year-old has scored three goals in 13 Premier League appearances so far this season and was famously the subject of several Chelsea bids over the summer.
17.07 GMT: Up next, a tidbit from the USA. Alejandro Pozuelo's future with Inter Miami remains uncertain, as reported by MLSsoccer.com, as the Spaniard is out of contract and no deal has yet been agreed to extend it.
Both sides are holding talks but the future of Rodolfo Pizarro, currently on loan at Liga MX side CF Monterrey, plays into the equation. He is expected to leave, which would open up a Designated Player spot for Pozuelo.
16.31 GMT: TEAMtalk says that Borussia Dortmund star Jude Bellingham is being tracked by four top clubs, but isn't interested in a move to Chelsea.
Bellingham, 19, basically has his pick of clubs next summer if Dortmund's asking price of €130m is met. However, while Liverpool, Man United, Man City and Real Madrid are set to battle it out for the England midfielder, the report claims "Chelsea are set to miss out top target Bellingham with a move to Stamford Bridge not amongst the midfielder's priorities."
15.23 GMT: Sport1 claims that Eintracht Frankfurt forward Daichi Kamada is at the top of Borussia Dortmund's wishlist.
Kamada, 26, has a contract which expires in the summer of 2023 and has 12 goals in 20 games for Eintracht this season.
The Japan international is tipped to shine at the World Cup and Dortmund are keen to make a move for him before his transfer fee increases.

14.05 GMT: Liverpool's owners, the Boston-based Fenway Sports Group (FSG), are prepared to sell their controlling stake in the club, sources have told ESPN, 12 years after buying the six-time Champions League winners for just £300m.
As first reported by The Athletic, FSG have enlisted investment banks Goldman Sachs and Morgan Stanley to assist in the process of finding a potential buyer. Sources have told ESPN that while FSG are inviting offers and prepared to offload their complete holding in the club, the Liverpool owners are also ready to consider offers of outside investment.
Sources have told ESPN that Liverpool's valuation could exceed £4 billion due to the club's trophy-winning history, global fanbase and commercial value.
In a statement, FSG said: "There have been a number of recent changes of ownership and rumours of changes in ownership at EPL clubs and inevitably we are asked regularly about Fenway Sports Group's ownership in Liverpool.
"FSG has frequently received expressions of interest from third parties seeking to become shareholders in Liverpool. FSG has said before that under the right terms and conditions, we would consider new shareholders if it was in the best interests of Liverpool as a club. FSG remains fully committed to the success of Liverpool, both on and off the pitch."
13.38 GMT: Manchester United are interested in signing Bayern Munich striker Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting, says Bild.
Choupo-Moting, 33, is in the final year of his contract at Bayern Munich and has 10 goals from 14 appearances this season.
The Cameroon international, who played in the Premier League with Stoke in 2017-18, has caught the eye of United boss Erik ten Hag. A possible cheap transfer may be on the cards in January to boost United's strikeforce as he is available as a free agent in the summer.
12.50 GMT: Marcos Alonso says he "reluctantly" accepted a trial at Real Madrid when he was young due to his allegiance to Barcelona.
Alonso came from a Barca-supporting family. His dad also played for the Catalan club, although his grandad played for Real Madrid and he grew up in the Spanish capital, joining Los Blancos at the age of nine in 1999.
"It was complicated at first," Alonso told SPORT about signing for Barca's rivals. "After doing the trial a little reluctantly, they called me to join. My parents were laughing. In the end, it was the best for my development. I was there for many years. I grew as a person and a player. I can't say I didn't."
Alonso spent 11 years at Madrid, making one first-team appearance before signing for English side Bolton Wanderers. After further spells with Fiorentina, Sunderland and Chelsea, he finally signed for Barca this summer as a free agent.
"My dad was coaching and we followed him through different cities, supporting the team where he was, but obviously his team was Barca and at home we were all Barca fans," Alonso added.
"If, at any moment in my career, you had asked me who I wanted to play for, I would always have said Barca, like my dad. Maybe it was a risky decision coming here, leaving my comfort zone at Chelsea, but it's a nice project and I was attracted by the prospect of coming back to Spain after so long away before the end of my career."
11.54 GMT: Real Madrid forward Eden Hazard may consider leaving the club in January, according to Marca.
Hazard, 31, has struggled for game time and is keen to make a move after playing for Belgium at the World Cup.
Newcastle United and Aston Villa have been linked with a transfer for the former Chelsea star.

11.03 GMT: Barcelona forward Raphinha says his lack of goals has slowed down his adaption to life at this new club so far.
Raphinha, 25, signed for Barca from Leeds United in the summer in a deal worth around €55m.
The Brazil international was a regular under Xavi Hernandez at the start of the season but has not started a LaLiga game since the defeat to Real Madrid in October.
"On an individual level, it has been complicated because I am a forward and I like scoring," Raphinha told Cadena SER when asked how he was taking to life at Camp Nou. "I have scored one official goal this season and that affects you a little bit. I am adapting. Scoring only once is difficult, but my teammates are helping me and I am working hard to adapt as quickly as possible."
Raphinha has made 17 appearances in all competitions this season, scoring his only goal in the win at Sevilla in September. He has also set up four goals, including two in last week's 4-2 win against Viktoria Plzen.
Competition for places alongside Robert Lewandowski in attack is fierce, with Raphinha competing with Ousmane Dembele, Ferran Torres, Ansu Fati and Memphis Depay for two spots.
10.22 GMT: Fabrizio Romano reports that Arsenal are still interested in signing Shakhtar Donetsk forward Mykhaylo Mudryk.
Mudryk, 21, would add depth to the Gunners' frontline behind Gabriel Jesus, Gabriel Martinelli and Bukayo Saka.
The Ukraine international has seven goals and seven assists from 14 games so far this season and Shakhtar are looking to get around €60m for his services.
09.59 GMT: Southampton have have parted company with manager Ralph Hasenhuttl, the Premier League club announced on Monday.
The club are reported to have wanted to wait until after the World Cup break, but a string of poor results led them to act sooner.
The decision follows their 4-1 defeat to Newcastle on Sunday, leaving them 18th in the table.
"Southampton Football Club can confirm it has parted company with Men's First Team Manager Ralph Hasenhuttl. First Team Assistant Coach Richard Kitzbichler has also today left the club," Southampton said in a statement.
"Everyone involved with the club would like to express their sincere thanks to Ralph for all of his efforts, as well as the unwavering commitment he has shown throughout his time as manager."
09.34 GMT: Tottenham already spent £60m to sign Richarlison from Everton this summer, but now want to bring in Anthony Gordon too, according to The Sun.
Gordon, 21, was linked with a £40m move to Chelsea but no agreement could be reached in the last transfer window, and Everton boss Frank Lampard is a huge fan of the forward.
Everton will want around £60m, with Tottenham ready to make a move in January to beat out the competition.
08.55 GMT: Villarreal coach Quique Setien says he has faith he can turn things around despite his dismal start at the club.
Villarreal fans booed Setien, who replaced Unai Emery (who joined Aston Villa) on Oct. 25, and fans chanted "Quique leave!" during Sunday's 2-0 home loss to Mallorca, their third straight defeat.
The Yellow Submarine have drawn one game and lost three since Setien's arrival, conceding six goals and failing to score in the last three games.
"The fans have reason to be angry and I can't say anything," Setien said in quotes reported by AS. "You have to respect, and I understand that they get angry. All I ask is that they have patience and faith, as I have. We have to improve and now fortunately we are going to have a break that will give us room to work on many things that we have not been able to work on.
"The club that hired me knows my proposal and I don't like to commit suicide. I am a man of faith, and this situation can happen, because football is not an exact science. We have to improve and adapt to what we are proposing. We've been eight days, at most ten, we haven't been able to train to organize ourselves better. This is a strong setback, but the team will improve, for sure."
08.33 GMT: Luis Suarez bade an emotional farewell to Nacional three months after returning to the club, helping them win the league title.
Suarez, 35, joined Nacional as a free agent after his contract with Atletico Madrid expired last summer. The Uruguay international decided to go back to the club where he began his career in 2005 in order to prepare for the World Cup in Qatar and scored eight goals in 14 games.
"It's a goodbye, I'm not going to play [here] again, but I will return to the club at some point," a tearful Suarez said. "The time has come and first of all I want to thank you for everything. As I said some time ago, I was coming back because of you and because I wanted to come back.
"Each one of you must continue to be proud that we are at a world-class level and people talk about what Nacional's fans have done, and that is your merit."
The former Barcelona star, a reported target of MLS clubs, thanked his teammates, especially Emmanuel Gigliotti, who will now wear the No. 9 jersey after offering it to Suarez when he arrived.
08.00 GMT: Philadelphia Union midfielder Paxten Aaronson is set to sign for Europa League champions Eintracht Frankfurt after the two clubs agreed a fee for the United States youth international, a source has confirmed to ESPN.
Aaronson, brother of Leeds United's Brenden Aaronson, is set to be transferred to the Bundesliga club for an initial fee of $4 million plus add-ons and a percentage of any future sale, pending completion of a medical and agreement of personal terms.
Details of the transfer were first reported by MLS reporter Tom Bogert.
Paxten Aaronson, 19, captured the attention of many after winning the Golden Boot and being voted as the tournament's best player at this summer's CONCACAF U-20 Championship, when he scored seven goals to help the U.S. qualify for the 2024 Olympics.
Julien Laurens has doubts that Jude Bellingham would go to Liverpool if they fail to qualify for the Champions League.

- There have been complications in AC Milan's contract negotiations with Rafael Leao, reports Sky Sports Italia, with the forward's deal ending in 2024. The first issue faced is Leao's change of agent, while there is also €19m owed to Sporting CP, which has factored into the Portugal international demanding wages of €9m to €10m per year -- a sum that Milan have never given any player.
- Arsenal scouts watched defensive midfielder Ibrahima Bamba during Vitoria's 3-0 defeat against Sporting, according to Ekrem Konur. The 20-year-old, who has previously been linked with a move to Italy, played the full 90 minutes and picked up a yellow card.
- Napoli are showing an interest in signing Empoli left-back Tommaso Baldanzi and Udinese midfielder Lazar Samardzic, according to Calciomercato. Baldanzi's goal and performance against Sassuolo on Saturday has helped convince Napoli of his talent, while Samardzic is someone they are interested in. A valuation of over €20m for Samardzic's transfer, however, could prove to be an obstacle to any potential move.
- Bayern Munich sporting director Hasan Salihamidzic has told Sky Sports Deutschland that Alexander Nubel won't return to the club in 2023. Nubel is on loan at AS Monaco but with goalkeepers Manuel Neuer and Sven Ulreich entrenched at Bayern, Nubel's future is unclear. Regarding striker Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting, Salihamidzic said they will meet with his agent over a potential extension on his contract, which ends this summer.
- Robin Gosens could leave Internazionale to join Bayer Leverkusen in January, according to Calciomercato. The Germany international full-back has been struggling for meaningful minutes with Inter and could move to the Bundesliga, as Leverkusen are set to move for him again after attempting to do so in the summer.
