LIVE Transfer Talk: Weston McKennie rejects Bournemouth and Aston Villa amid Chelsea, Spurs interest

With the January transfer window now open around Europe there's plenty of gossip swirling about who's moving where. Transfer Talk brings you all the latest buzz on rumours, comings, goings and, of course, done deals!

TOP STORY: McKennie waiting for Chelsea, Spurs or Dortmund offer

Weston McKennie is waiting for the right offer to leave Juventus, according to Calciomercato.

The 24-year-old United States midfielder is reported to have turned down a €40 million move to AFC Bournemouth and, while he has also rejected a second approach from Aston Villa, he could still leave the Bianconeri this January amid interest from Chelsea, Tottenham Hotspur and Borussia Dortmund.

Those teams are yet to make a formal approach, but it is reported that he would be willing to leave Juventus if an agreement is reached over a fee, with the midfielder only willing to begin a new chapter at another club if he can continue his career at the top level.

Juve are open to offers, but with injuries to Juan Cuadrado and Mattia De Sciglio, they also see McKennie as a useful option with his versatility to be deployed on the right flank. He has made 16 appearances this season.

De Gea's deal at Old Trafford is set to expire at the end of the season, and United have an option to extend it by another year. Sources have told ESPN the club have chosen instead to start negotiations over a longer agreement.

However, if fresh terms are not agreed and United do not trigger his extension, De Gea could leave for free in the summer, although the 32-year-old said he expects to stay.

"I'm very relaxed," De Gea said after the 3-0 win over Bournemouth on Tuesday. "I'm just focused on training, perform as best as I can. But, for sure, it's going to end in a good way."

Negotiations are ongoing amid conflicting messages from sources close to both clubs. Those close to Benfica suggest Chelsea have indicated they could pay up to €127m, with the extra money designed to entice the Portuguese club into accepting a series of instalments over several years.
