Immobile scores four to top this week's edition of Player Power Rankings

ESPN FC's global editorial desks nominate their top weekend performers. Lazio's Ciro Immobile struck four times on Saturday to top our list.

3. Virgil van Dijk | Liverpool

Why he's here: In his first match for Liverpool after becoming the world's most expensive defender, Van Dijk became a part of club folklore by scoring a late winner over Merseyside rivals Everton on Friday.

4. Lionel Messi | Barcelona

Why he's here: Barca's No. 10 scored one and assisted on another as the Catalan giants eased to a 3-0 win over Levante on Sunday.

5. Kylian Mbappe | Paris Saint-Germain

Why he's here: A brace and a pair of assists for Mbappe as PSG were rampant in a 6-1 destruction of Rennes on Sunday.

6. Bas Dost | Sporting Lisbon

Why he's here: The 28-year-old Dutchman scored a hat trick against Maritimo on Sunday -- his second three-goal game this season.

7. Harry Kane | Tottenham Hotspur

Why he's here: Spurs took a comfortable 3-0 FA Cup win over Wimbledon on Sunday courtesy of a brace from Kane.
