After scoring once for the club in 19 appearances last season, Emile Heskey was released by Australian side Newcastle Jets in July and is consequently still without a club.
With that in mind, Heskey appeared on Britain's "Soccer AM" on Saturday morning and was handed the chance to show off his talents to any potential suitors out there watching by taking part in the show's weekly trick-shot segment, wherein celebrity participants are tasked with simply walloping a ball through any one of five holes.
Heskey, in customary fashion, stepped up and managed to miss the entire wall.
We suppose you can't really lose what you never had.
