Man City lead crowded chase for Real's Isco; Barca weigh Soares move

The football world is in full swing, and Transfer Talk is already monitoring the whispers ahead of all the summer moves. Check out the latest deals here.

Top teams circling for Isco

Real Madrid star Isco is finally ready to leave the Santiago Bernabeu, reports the Mirror, with Manchester City thought to be his most likely destination.

The Spanish playmaker only has a year left on his deal, which means a departure is almost certain with Pep Guardiola especially keen.

City could clinch a deal for just £30 million, but Chelsea are also contemplating a bid, while an audacious move to Barcelona on a free transfer in 2018 has been mentioned.

Zinedine Zidane has failed to utilise the 24-year-old with any regularity, though the former Malaga starlet has still chipped in -- especially of late -- with an impressive return of six goals and six assists.

Barca want Saints full-back

Barcelona will make a surprise move for Southampton's Cedric Soares as they look to address their ongoing issue at right-back, says the Mirror.

Since Dani Alves' departure, Sergi Roberto has filled in and not looked the part, which could push the Blaugrana to bid £25m for the Portuguese international.

That figure would represent five times what Saints paid Sporting two years ago, with the 25-year-old enjoying a fine season since winning Euro 2016 with the Selecao.

Arsenal to rival West Ham for Boro star

It's all doom and gloom at the Emirates (again) after Bayern Munich thrashed Arsenal 5-1 (again) in the Champions League, but the Gunners are still looking to the future and the Evening Standard believe Ben Gibson is a target after an impressive season for struggling Middlesbrough.

The Gunners will be joined by West Ham in the race and could face a steep asking price, as the 24-year-old only penned a new five-year deal last summer.

A price tag of around £30m is the likely estimate given Gibson's status as a homegrown player.

Inter begin summer overhaul

Inter have moved to secure a deal for Stefan de Vrij and Gazzetta dello Sport suggests the Nerazzurri will now try to convince Lazio president Claudio Lotito to part with his star centre-back.

The Biancocelesti want up to €35m for the Dutch defender, who will command €3m on a four-year deal. Sporting director Piero Ausilio is also monitoring Roma duo Kostas Manolas and Antonio Rudiger, as well as Fiorentina's Gonzalo Rodriguez.

New owners Suning plan to fund a major spending spree and a €40m offer for the Giallorossi's Kevin Strootman is being prepared, with just one year remaining on the Dutch international's contract.

Tap-ins

- Juventus are looking to take advantage of stalled contract negotiations between Liverpool and Emre Can with the Mirror reporting the Old Lady could make a move for the midfielder.

With just a year left on his deal by this summer, the German international will also attract interest from Bayer Leverkusen, Hoffenheim and RB Leipzig.

- Everton will continue their redevelopment project under Ronald Koeman by attempting to snap up another outstanding young talent, claims the Mirror, with Fulham left-back Ryan Sessegnon on the Toffees' radar.

Director of Football Steve Walsh has paid a visit to Craven Cottage to watch the 16-year-old, who is seen as one of the most promising talents in the country.

- Brighton's push for promotion to the Premier League received a boost on Tuesday night when they announced the signing of Norwegian defender Vegard Forren.

With Shane Duffy and Connor Goldson ruled out, manager Chris Hughton has moved quickly to bring in the Norway international to provide cover down the stretch as they look to fend off a charge from Huddersfield for automatic promotion.
