Christoph Kramer scores bizarre own goal to help Dortmund win

Remember Christoph Kramer? He was the young, promising midfielder called up by Joachim Low to add ballast to Germany's World Cup squad. He started the final only to exit with a severe concussion, one that caused him to entirely forget his participation in the game.

Well, Sunday's Bundesliga game saw Kramer's tough Borussia Monchengladbach side host struggling Dortmund in a game few expected Jurgen Klopp's team to win on current form. In stepped Kramer with the above moment of pure charity.

The own goal, a lofted, mishit back-pass that caught teammate Yann Sommer off-guard between the posts, gave Dortmund a 1-0 win and a much-needed boost off the bottom of the table. BVB are now 15th on goal difference and bizarrely back on track.

Wasn't that nice of Kramer? We bet he wishes he could forget ...
