Spain's CD Guijuelo debut ham-inspired kit for new season

While the clubs in the Premier League are currently showing off their fancy shmancy new kits for the 2015-16 season, Spanish Segunda B side CD Guijuelo may have trumped everyone on the continent with their new away jersey for the upcoming campaign.

No stripes, hoops, solids or even zigzags... Nope. When the boys from La Mancha head to such grounds such as Vigo's Coruxo or Logrones, they will be sporting a jersey decorated with ham. That's right. Yummy, delicious ham.

For those not in the know, Guijuelo hail from the province of Salamanca in a region known for its propensity to gobble up plates of ham.

But it's not like we haven't seen novelty jerseys from Spain's lower divisions before. Why, just last season grounds from around the Iberian Peninsula were graced with an octopus and a tuxedo-themed jersey.

Hard to think what could be next.
